I live in my hometown in Northwest Indiana with my husband, two kids and 3 dogs. I'm a big believer in going with the flow, finding what makes you happy, not taking life too seriously, & loving with your whole heart. On top of being wife & mom, you can also find me photographing high school & college seniors, families, babies, branding sessions for professionals, & the occasional wedding or elopement! My clients become family, & I love growing with them over the years! I travel all over "the Region" so you'll find me mainly in the La Porte, Indiana area -- covering all of NW Indiana, into SW Michigan, & even over in Chicago and the suburbs!

I am a man that enjoys history. Far too often, we are completely unaware of ours. Video is relatively new as a mainstream staple in our society and we still don't fully appreciate it's value. My mission, and that of Gilded Heart Films, is to educate couples that work with me on the less thought of benefits of video. 8 generations from now, will they know who you were? Who your family was? Will you fade into obscurity?

Welcome! Misha Media is a husband and wife team composed of Michele and Andy. Their company is actually named after their beautiful daughter, Misha! Originally from the medical field, Michele and Andy took a leap of faith and followed their hearts and pursued photography. Michele always loved the arts and she expressed her artistic flair through drawings and paintings. She discovered the art in photography, inspired by her own wedding photos. They started shooting weddings and the rest is history!

I thought I'd get us started by sharing a bit about me. I'm a photographer obsessed with warm, earthy, and film-like tones located between Chicago, Milwaukee, and Rockford. I specialize in capturing both the little and big moments on your wedding day as well as blending my artistic style with the traditional portraits (aka the pics Grandma will order).

Frankly, I'm a pretty normal guy who is just deeply captivated by the process of photographing everyday people and telling stories. No project or wedding day ever feels the same to me. I always approach each with a fresh mind and remind myself that these photos are not for ME or to gather attention on social media, these are for my client and their family to cherish for generations. Chris has a vast repertoire that includes American standards, Jazz, Blues, show tunes, Rock, Pop, The Beatles, Sinatra and more.

I’ve been in love with art and anything weird since I was a kid and I still try to weave that child-like vulnerability into my art. I feel incredibly grateful I get to do something I love everyday. I'm Melissa: Melissa means "honey bee' in Greek and I have 8 honey bees tattooed across my back. I love movies, daydreaming, leftover Chinese take out and being married. I'm addicted to learning new things and take online classes all the time. I LOVE to make mixes and I'm always updating a running playlist of songs that I'm listening to - some I love, some old favorites, and some that I want to hear again before I make a decision. I've been photographing weddings for over 10 years, I love it. Every day is different and every day is special! What more could a photographer ask for!

I grew up with three brothers, (two older, one younger) Yes I loved to do all the girl things, like play barbies, go shopping, and get my nails painted, but behind all that was a girl who loved soccer down to my bones. I was about sixteen years old I was gifted a camera, and that quickly became a part of me.When I was just out of high school I met and fell in love with my best friend, we were married a year and a half later. We quickly began a family, because not only did I have a passion for photography, I also so badly, with all of my being wanted to be a mom.

As a kid, I asked for a camera for every Christmas and birthday, and finally got a Canon Rebel T3i in 2010 - my Sophomore year of high school. That baby was my prized possession and I rarely left the house without it. I became the yearbook photographer and editor that year and began taking photography classes my Junior year. I ventured off to Central Michigan University in an attempt of becoming a photojournalist. Once I realized journalism wasn't for me, I dropped out and headed back to my hometown of Kalamazoo, which ended up with my finding my sidekick and husband, Micah!
