The former power generating plant has undergone a three year renovation preserving the historical charm while adding modern amenities for today’s discerning couples. We offer indoor and outdoor options and space for ceremony and reception providing numerous backdrops for photos. The Steam Plant's versatility allows couples to customize the venue and utilize the spaces to best fit their group size and vision for the day. At The Steam Plant couples can enjoy "one stop shop" by utilizing the Bridal Suite and Groom's Lounge for wedding day preparations. Truly luxurious and convenient with ample getting ready spaces, amenities and photo opportunities. We are available by appointment only, please contact us for a tour and to check availability.

“The Steam Plant is a gorgeous venue in downtown Dayton that has so much flexibility and so many options for the client. There's the Grand Gallery with huge windows and lots of natural light, the outside space which is perfect for ceremonies or cocktail hour, the cigar patio, the downstairs wine cellar / boiler room and more. The bride can get ready on site in the bridal suite and there's a stag room for the groom and his tribe. Inside and outside provides unique photo opportunities for the wedding couple. The space is perfect for not only weddings but also birthdays, retirement parties, company holiday parties, fundraisers, and more. You're able to bring in your own alcohol for the stunning built-in oversized bar. The venue owns and includes tables of all sizes and elegant wooden chairs. they also own separate chairs for outside to accommodate the ceremonies or cocktail hour. Lisa is a joy to work with. This is definitely a venue to consider for your upcoming celebration or event.”
