My name is Sebastien Mortreux and I am a photographer in Ashburn, Virginia. I graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a four year degree in Photography. My native country is France and I have also lived in Argentina and Brazil. I speak French, Spanish, Portuguese and English. In my life, I have had the opportunity to travel to more than fifteen countries. During my travels, I was exposed to many various cultures and learned to adapt and embrace different environments. I have been working with Photography for more than twenty years. I am properly insured with general liability from Hiscox.

I am an experienced photographer in the Richmond, VA area, most recently named Richmond's Most Loved Photographer of 2020, 2021 & 2022. There is nothing I love more than watching my clients families grow as the years go by or watching two people express their love for one another at a wedding ceremony. Capturing those milestones means the world to me and I feel as though that passion shows through in my creative but natural photography style.

I have been photographing weddings in the Orlando area since 1998. After several years of working in the corporate world, I felt a strong desire to step away from my career and feed my creative spirit. My love for Photography and family grew almost simultaneously. Sona Photography has over 450 South Asian Weddings in its’ portfolio and many satisfied customers to boot.

The whole goal with my photography business has always been making timeless art out of the fleeting moments with the people I am so fortunate to meet and share in their experiences. After 17 years I still love the emotions I get to capture and memories I capture for generations.
