Hi Heather and Jewel, I’m genuinely sorry to hear that you both feel disappointed. That’s never the experience I want anyone to walk away with. I do want to clarify a few things for accuracy. After you reached out about wanting to see additional images, I responded and provided more photos from the event. Your final email did not include a question or request for further action, which is why there wasn’t an additional reply. Regarding gallery size, my contract states that delivered image counts are an average and vary based on the type of event, the length of coverage, and what naturally unfolds during that time. This was a couple’s portrait session followed by a dinner party/ reception style gathering rather than a full wedding day timeline, which impacts overall variety and volume. I do not deliver intentional duplicates. The only repeated images would be black-and-white versions of color photographs, which is part of my standard editing workflow. I’m especially saddened to hear that you felt misunderstood in how you were directed or labeled. Creating an affirming and comfortable environment for every couple is deeply important to me. It was never my intention to apply generic roles or make assumptions, and I take that feedback seriously. Thank you. Every event is different, including weather, lighting conditions, timelines, and atmosphere, and I always work within those realities . The work delivered reflects the natural flow of the evening.
