I’m Lauren Montgomery, the heart behind Lauren Monty Photos in Virginia Beach. I specialize in natural light weddings, engagements, and family portraits. Photography has been my passion since middle school, and after studying it in school and gaining experience in real estate photography, I launched my own business in 2021. I’m a daydreamer and nature lover who aims to capture authentic, timeless moments. On your big day, I’m here to support and calm you while creating memories you’ll cherish forever.

    Wedding Photo Review!

    Lauren Monty Photos was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, she was easy to get in contact with and very responsive to all of our questions and needs. On the day of the wedding, she captured every quirk and unexpected aspect of our special day in the most beautiful way. She even helped me embrace the fact that I was unable to do a lot of the traditional wedding things due to my knee injury :) Lauren really cares beyond just taking great photos - she went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience.     Lauren is amazing

Sometimes, I’ll bring an assistant photographer depending on the size of your wedding. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra.
Definitely. All final images will be carefully edited to ensure optimal color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness, resulting in a beautiful appearance.
My turnaround time varies by season. I'll send you a sneak peek of your wedding photos within the first week. Typically, you’ll be able to view all your photos online about 8-10 weeks after your wedding. You will receive all your images through an online gallery with high-resolution image files where you can download, share the photos with your loved ones, and even order prints.
In my 6 years of photographing weddings, I’ve never had to cancel a booking. If something truly unexpected ever came up, my talented associate photographer would step in to take the lead and capture your day with the same care and attention you’d get from me. And don’t worry, I’ll still be personally editing every image to ensure it looks exactly as you envisioned.
I use a camera with two memory cards, so every photo is saved twice for extra security. While editing, one card stays in a fireproof safe, and all images are backed up on two external hard drives. Your memories are always safe with me.
