Fine art photography was my beginning, creating conceptual and authentic art that spoke to me and told my story was what I started with and then I started blurring that line between fine art and documentary. I started documenting other people and their lives in the same way that I created my own work intended for shows and galleries. That is how I came to the style that I shoot now, still blending the two parts of my life.

Ever since I was a child, I've been passionate about arts and culture. Wedding photography fulfills my passion in various ways more than I would have ever imagined. I studied photography at U-Arts and PCAD, and have been photographing weddings for over 10 years, throughout which I've been developing my style of photo-journalism. I enjoy natural and simple moments. When I'm not photographing or editing, I love spending time with my family and exploring places. Most of the time you’ll find me strolling around the city with my son in search of exciting adventures.

Without photography I could never have imaged the view of the bleachers from the field at Yankee Stadium; being on stage in front of 20,000 screaming music fans; exploring the World and its endless diversity; helping to give a voice to those in need; or being openly invited to witness the courage and vulnerability that comes with human connection.

When Andrew and Kathy were photojournalist their thief was story telling. As they got married and started a family, the focus shifted to their children and the couple used their creativity to tell a new story – first steps, trips to the park, birthdays. Soon, Andrew and Kathy began helping other couples tell their own stories, of engagements and weddings, babies and anniversaries. Those stories built the foundation of Yellow House Images. Today, Yellow House remains a family-run business but the family has grown.

Heather is our in-house professional photographer who has an artistic obsession with natural light. When she’s not wrangling your next of kin for formals by asserting her east coast kindness, you will probably find her in the woods, holding her hand in the air to catch a reflection of the sun’s rays. She has a knack for finding locations that make natural surroundings look like professional sets, placing her subjects in an ethereal glow that’s usually reserved for storybook endings.
