The Gatewood is a beautiful, historic wedding venue based in La Grange, KY. Located less than a thirty minute drive from Louisville, The Gatewood provides a laid-back yet sophisticated setting while still being close enough to all conveniences of the city. Built in 1908, this Kentucky wedding venue has been beautifully restored and has since hosted hundreds of events. You and your partner can become a part of the building’s history when you choose to hold your wedding at The Gatewood. Inside, there are several unique spaces across multiple floors for your ceremony and reception, as well as other pre-wedding celebrations, such as showers and rehearsal dinner. Located in the newly renovated ELM Industries BASH is bursting with detail and waiting for you to add your touch to welcome up to 125 guests for your big day.

Most commonly, BASH is used for either a ceremony or reception, but we welcome its use for both. We recommend hiring an event planner however they are not required but can be helpful in planning the ideal solution for your event. Venue Staff will set, chairs, tables, and table linens however you are responsible for setting all additional decor not purchased through venue and ensuring that the venue is left free of food and returned to its original condition upon the conclusion of your event. As an open vendor venue, you are welcome to supply your own alcohol and select your own catering providers, we provide a bartender when serving alcohol at weddings to ensure responsible consumption.
