All the way from the initial phone call with Sonia, to our engagement photo session, to the day of the wedding, she put us at ease and was an absolute dream come true to work with. When it came time for our engagement photos, we were a bit nervous and didn't know what to expect since it was one of our first times ever having professional photos taken. She quickly made us feel comfortable and at ease. Best of all, Sonia wasn't afraid to give occasional tips and subtle direction on posing, fix wind-blown hair, or adjust an unintentional rolled shirt sleeve, all while still capturing candid moments and letting the whole process feel natural. As for the wedding day, Sonia and her second shooter showed up early, greeted us with smiles, and patiently answered all of our questions throughout the day. We had a wedding of about 230 guests, and the wedding party alone was about 20 people...it was no easy feat! However, Sonia and her second shooter were able to gracefully and efficiently manage photos with our large wedding party, dynamic family relationships, and lively wedding guests, all while staying upbeat, on schedule, and communicating professionally with other day-of vendors who were present. They both exceeded our expectations. Wedding planning was so stressful at times, especially with the mind-boggling amount of wedding vendors available to choose from. If I had to pick one piece of advice to pass along to someone who is in the process of planning a wedding, it would be: let your wedding photography decision be an easy one by letting Sonia capture your special day. She is truly a gem and her talent is unparalleled.”
