Our wedding day was absolutely perfect thanks to Hildegard and the SkyView staff! We planned our wedding less than a year out, and Hildegard was very accommodating and very responsive throughout the planning process - she was truly a pleasure to work with. On wedding day, we also had Jenn and Iwan helping out to make sure the day ran smoothly. We did our ceremony off-site so we cannot speak on that, but our cocktail hour and reception were absolutely awesome! We still have guests raving about how good the food was and how beautiful the venue and grounds are. You definitely get the best value for your money in terms of northern NJ wedding venues, and we couldn't recommend SkyView enough!

Bear with me because this is a long review but it is well deserved! Mainline hosted my wedding on 8/23/25. Let me start by saying that the owner Bill saved my wedding. We had already picked another venue in February and they just stopped responding to us so we had to go looking for another one in October. We had a very meager budget and we knew that finding a venue in NJ within that budget would be an almost impossible feat. But Bill worked with us and gave us everything we could have ever asked for and more. Dani, their general manager who joined after we booked, was AMAZING. She was on top of the event the whole night, both Bill and Dani checked in with us through the entire wedding, making sure we had eaten or that we always had a drink on hand. The pavilion was beautiful, the food was incredible, the staff was amazing, the entire thing was flawless. As a bride, I cannot imagine having a better experience, there is no other venue in this entire state that I would have trusted more than Mainline. I will continue to sing their praises from the rooftops because they deserve it. They worked seamlessly with all of my vendors. If you are looking for a place to host your wedding, or any other important event for that matter, choose mainline. They will not disappoint you. I will be forever grateful for the hard work and support that Dani and Bill put into our wedding and I will definitely be returning for whatever other events I have in the future because they are just that fantastic. Thank you so much Mainline, for giving us the wedding of our dreams!!

The Silo was a dream wedding venue! The high ceilings, gorgeous chandeliers, and amazing backlighting led to wonderful pictures. We had several guests comment on how beautiful the venue was. We utilized floating candles for our centerpieces which played amazingly with the added candles provided by the Farmhouse. The staff was attentive, helpful, and communicative. They paid attention to detail and were always available to put our minds at ease. We also rented the bridal suite and groom’s suite. Both suites were spacious, filled with entertainment, and included private bathrooms and mini fridges. There was plenty of space for my hair and makeup team.. We all had a wonderful time getting ready for the wedding. The food and chef were absolutely incredible. We were able to completely customize the menu by adding things like garlic mashed potatoes and chicken francese. What really stood out is that it felt like we were giving our guests a high end restaurant meal, rather than cookie cutter wedding food.

I can’t say enough about this venue! We had a New Year’s Eve wedding 12-31-23 with 230 guests and it was exceptional. We used both the modern 11th floor Skyline Room for the ceremony and the gorgeous traditional ballroom on the main floor for the reception. We had a block of rooms for our guests and they raved about the accommodations and the service. The rooms were spacious and spotless. The bridal suite was huge and easily accommodated 8 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and 4 aestheticians. The food was amazing; prime rib, crab cakes and chicken francaise were our choices. It was delicious and served hot. They have a variety of entrees to choose from. The staff was attentive to our needs as well as professional and friendly. Pricing was very reasonable considering all the amenities included. I highly recommend The Americus Hotel for a wedding or any other function. Mother of the Groom

As a wedding officiant, I've had the pleasure of working with many venues, but The Olde Mille Inn truly stands out as an iconic, singular celebration site. From the moment you step into the inn itself or its historic restaurant, "The Grain House", (recently voted one of the most romantic restaurants in NJ!), you feel the warmth and hospitality they're famous for! There are so many pretty photo backdrops in every season! Having a beautiful, dog-friendly hotel on site so the wedding parties and family can gather and celebrate together is another amazing bonus that helps the day run seamlessly! Their people are just phenomenal, from their planning staff to the day-of coordination. They go above and beyond to ensure every detail is perfect, allowing couples to truly relax and enjoy their wedding celebration. Literally, nothing is left up to chance! For couples seeking a truly personalized ceremony and reception, I can't recommend the Olde Mill highly enough. They're incredibly accommodating and flexible, allowing you to create a day that reflects your unique love story. (And they have the best fried calamari in the state!) I'd encourage any couple searching for the perfect wedding setting to begin their search here. It may be the first and last place you tour!

We had the best day of our lives at the Madison Hotel! We actually found them through Zola, having never heard of them before. When we toured, we fell in love with the Conservatory, which is ultimately where we had our ceremony and reception. The day was amazing - the food was delicious (and there was so much of it!), the hotel was beautiful, and it was convenient having our guests onsite for all activities (like our after party). I only deducted one star due to communication; I felt like most of the communication was driven by us, such as scheduling our final venue walkthrough. Everyone was very helpful, but I would have liked a bit more communication as a type A planner. Other than that, we couldn’t have asked for a better celebration of our love.

After being in the Wedding & Special Events Industry in the Lehigh Valley and Beyond, Linda and I have been fortunate enough to work with the best of the best, both on a Professional level and in some of the most Amazing Wedding Venues around America. Throughout the years we have been blessed working with Terry Marrow at several awesome venues. No matter where we were or what the environment Terry always but on the best events. Every little detail was pre-thought and executed perfectly and as we all know sometimes things have not been relayed as they should have, but fear not, Terry would have it addressed and no one was every the wiser. One of the other special things about Terry is that she concerned about the other Professionals, to insure they have the space they need, convey the changes in last minute timing and in our case, the schedule allows for the very memorable images we will create – truly a team player! As for Shepard Hills Country Club, it is a beautiful venue. When we started out in our business we worked there often. It then went through some management changes, all for the better and it has been recently restored to its current splendor. It is not overstated yet stunning, with ample seating areas, spacious dance floor and refreshment area. On top oof that you have the Country Club grounds and outside casual areas, couple all that with an Outstanding Chef, banquet team and one of the Best Managers in and around the Lehigh Valley, what more could you ask for.

Our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful and magical Stone House is as a venue, how attentive and professional all the staff are (big shoutout to Michelle for working with us so closely to make the day so special for us, for Sarah who stayed right by our side answering all our questions and going out of her way to even be with us on our wedding day-making us feel so special, to Mercedes who made everything run on point the day-of, end to end, and Rebecca for being such an attentive bridal attendant and making it so much easier to move around in a big dress!) Don’t overlook the Short Hills Hilton for your wedding! It was the perfect location for our big day, offering a central gathering spot where our guests didn’t have to worry about traveling throughout the day. We explored several traditional venues, but none felt as right as this one. We had a November wedding and didn’t expect to have an outdoor ceremony, but the hotel’s lovely patio space was a wonderful option, and surprisingly, the noise from the JFK Parkway wasn’t an issue. For our indoor ceremony, the venue features a permanent enclosed tent structure. At first glance, it didn’t seem like much, but with the help of the event coordinator Vivian Cohen’s help and coordination with our florist, the space was transformed into something breathtaking. The reception space was spacious and perfect for our 170 guests—large enough for everyone to feel comfortable but not so big that it felt empty. Guests still rave about the food and service! The chef and maître d' truly deserve all the praise. The hors d’oeuvres were diverse and delicious, from sliders to a pasta bar to sushi. We chose the salmon and short ribs for dinner, which we selected during a private tasting session. The hotel grounds, filled with foliage, were perfect for photos, especially as we were lucky to have beautiful fall colors for our shoot. Victoria at the Hilton was incredibly helpful with coordinating room blocks, hotel room gift bags, and storage. Vivian was a dream to work with—she was welcoming, communicative, and made everything run smoothly. Her checklist was a lifesaver for keeping track of details, and she was hands-on with day-of coordination, ensuring everyone knew where they needed to be and helping with the little touches that made everything perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to help make our wedding day unforgettable!

On the day of, David, our maitre d’ was phenomenal making sure every detail was in place and that the entire day flowed smoothly without any issues. He made me feel at ease the entire day. A special shoutout to Valencia, my bridal attendant, who was genuinely the sweetest and most attentive person. She was by my side the entire time, making sure I had everything I needed and helping me feel calm and cared for throughout the day. The cocktail hour was incredible. I simply cannot say enough in praise of il Tulipano. In July 2024 we held our wedding, and we could not have asked or prayed for better than what we were given! We first met Chef Mario in early 2023 while we were researching venues and cost. We toured approximately 8 -10 venues, and we corresponded with several venues online. But our hearts and minds could not stop thinking about il Tulipano. We were in love with Chef Mario’s passion for what he does and infectious personality. He truly is the best! Not only was the venue a great price, but we felt honored to be a part of the il Tulipano family! We couldn’t have chosen a better venue for our wedding! The setting was stunning, the food incredibly delicious, and the team went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect! Our guest was blown away at how beautiful everything was. Chef Mario and his staff never hesitated to provide guidance, help and support before and during our wedding. Appetizers were so good that they were mistaken for the dinner but were surpassed by the actual main entree. The dessert room was the showstopper! Staff that treated us like family–Joellen, Mike, and Sunday were unbeatable! --and the warmth of Chef Mario made all the difference in an event that shone from the top management down to everyone involved in making our day so special, memorable, and beautiful. If you’re looking for a dream venue that delivers on ambience, service, cost and a personal touch, look no further! il Tulipano is bound to impress you and your guests. The most remarkable moment in life is when you meet the person who makes you complete. Thank you, Chef Mario, and il Tulipano!!
