“Sweet Escape and Treats catered the dessert bar and cake for our wedding, and everything was delicious! An exceptionally nice couple runs the company, and they go above and beyond to make sure this is a seamless part of your big day. We had a selection of cupcakes, cookies, brownies, rice crispy treats, and fruit cups for our dessert bar, along with a gorgeous cutting cake. At the end of the night, they box everything up in containers so you and your guests can take the treats home. It's also worth noting that they handled all the setup and teardown, including providing dessert stands that coordinated with the rest of our wedding decor. We're still eating cake a week later, and it tastes just as good as night one. Could not be more pleased with this service!”

My only concern was that they don’t frequently check their email, and they don’t have a phone number for contact, so you’re a little bit at the mercy of when they can get back to you! I put some of the flowers in my hair, my bridesmaids and I DIY’d our boquets, and we gave each guest a bud vase to fill and had a flower bar on the wedding day!”

“Matthew was the best decision we made for our wedding day. I would recommend him over and over and over again! He truly showed up and gave his all for us, all in a tweed suit in humid 90 Michigan weather, nonetheless. Communication was immediate and thorough. With the addition of next step advice and willingness to be included in those steps. He uses his unique personality to relate to you both and if you have the trust for him to portray yourselves through him and his speech, you can really see that he throughly enjoys what he’s been doing for all these years. We had a hand fasting ceremony and wouldn’t you know it, I forgot our cord. He had absolutely zero second thoughts to taking his tie off of his own neck for us to use right then and there and he completely saved our ceremony from one of the things I was most excited about. Not only that, he personally mailed and updated us timely, on our license and progress after the ceremony. We had countless compliments on him from friends, family and guests and each time we couldn’t agree more. I don’t think we’ve told anyone our story yet without including him in it. For memories sake I hope he did make it into a few photos! BOOK HIM!”

“We were truly blown away by our experience with FWB. We had the best wedding day, and the venue & service were such a big factor in that. Both Robin & Riley were phenomenal to work with- so patient, quick to respond and always answered the many questions we had. We loved doing the food tasting ahead of the wedding as well as the wine/beer tasting. Riley was there to walk us through the rehearsal the night before and was amazing on the wedding day to coordinate the ceremony and schedule throughout the night. I really appreciated how she checked in with us to make sure we weren’t overwhelmed and made sure that when we did take a minute to take a breath, there was food and drinks in the suite for us. We really loved being able to have the bridal suites for the day- it was awesome. The service for the reception was phenomenal. Staff always ensured we had full plates & drinks so that we could focus on interacting with guests. We cannot overstate how much we love FWB’s food. Not only at the wedding and throughout the tastings, but we had so many guests comment on how amazing all the food was. I highly recommend the rosemary pork and the chicken marsala. The mushroom ravioli was a fan favorite and we heard comments about it all night. Since the wedding we have visited FWB multiple times just to eat there because the food is that good. The coordination of the entire day was seriously flawless and took so much stress off our shoulders. We were able to focus on having fun while they ensured things were set-up, running on time and later taken down without us having to lift a finger (except for our own decor that we brought!). If you’re thinking about choosing FWB for your big day- do it! We had such a great experience and can’t stop talking about it.”

I sought out her services because although I have rhythm, my husband has two left feet and we wanted to make our wedding memorable for our guests so we decided to learn some choreography for our first dance as husband and wife. She created an amazing henna station with decor like tablecloths, tealights, and thaalis, which blended in perfectly with the wedding event.
