Welcome! I'm Chef Sakinah. I have worked in the food and beverage industry professionally for over a decade and counting. Throughout my career, I've worked in various restaurants across New Jersey, New York City, Florida, North Carolina, and California. With this exposure, I've learned many different styles, cuisines, and techniques of cooking, and from many executive head chefs. Managing and handling all facets of the kitchen, is also my expertise. Graduating from one of the top Culinary Arts Schools in the United States, I earned my A.A.S Degree in Culinary Arts, and Serv Safe/State Food Safety Certificate.

Carmaria “Cocoa” Fenton is a licensed, certified chef with over 25 years of professional culinary experience. She served as Head Chef at the DoubleTree Hotel in Atlanta for nine years, delivering high-quality, memorable dining experiences. After returning to North Carolina, she founded Cheweii Cuisine—blending luxury dining with soulful flavors and intentional preparation. Every dish is crafted with prayer, passion, and purpose, nourishing both body and spirit. Love is the secret ingredient you can taste in every bite.
