I have traveled and photographed weddings and engagement shoots all over the country including internationally. I still get nervous before every wedding I photograph. If I didn’t have nervous tension, I probably would have lost the drive and passion for what I love doing the most. The reason for my love of wedding photography is simple: I love spending the day with brides and grooms creating wedding day memories that will last a lifetime. If you couldn’t already tell, I have such a passion and love for anything beachy and sunny. I was born and raised on the island of Maui in Hawaii and moved to San Diego for college. I just couldn’t escape beautiful weather and thought that sunny San Diego was the next best thing to being back home!

It’s me, Katherine! A little about me, I'm married to my husband Chris, and we have our little Jade, who is our rainbow, and our everything!! I have a love for anything old and sentimental – antique stores are my jam! I love to road-trip, most often to visit family but occasionally to a national park or somewhere new! I LOve coffee...years as a barista could be to blame but I so enjoy it with future clients discussing their upcoming Wedding or Life Event. Meeting up afterward, delivering print products and catching up on life just sweetens the KBP experience! Things are a little different with Covid, but we're just pivoting!

I’ve been happily married for almost 27 years. I have three awesome sons. My parakeets Kiwi and Sparky are very social, meaning very loud! Champagne (maybe that’s why I love weddings) and sushi lover here! Photography has been my passion ever since my dad gave me my first film camera and introduced me to the dark room at age of 10. I lived in Japan for 12 years, and even performed on a stage there. I’m always up for a great road trip! I love tuna fishing. I love hats and want to wear them everyday (over 20 hats in my collection). I’ve been shooting beautiful weddings for almost 10 years. I secretly cry at every wedding.
