We just had our wedding at Olde Village Mill and could not have chosen a better venue! The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. Dianna & Daryl are a dream team. They made the entire process stress free for us. They are so detailed, thorough, reliable, flexible, attentive, professional, and they truly care about their clients experience. It was enjoyable working with them. Dianna & Daryl handled the vendors the day of (as well as coordinated with them leading up to the wedding) which helped alleviate stress from us. They set up all of our decorations and table settings so we didn’t have to worry about any of that. The venue looked magical and turned out exactly how we envisioned our wedding. There was not one thing I would have changed. I cannot recommend them enough! We had a great experience with Olde Village Mill and we’re so grateful to have worked with Dianna & Daryl

I was so grateful that they were able to accommodate me just a month before the event, especially knowing how busy they were with so many other events. All the staff were so kind and always made sure we were comfortable and doing alright, and everything went so smoothly. The venue was absolutely beautiful on its own, and the food was incredible. Everyone couldn’t stop talking about the braised ribs and how wonderful the staff was. Communication did take a little time, but it was completely understandable given their busy schedule. Overall, the night was intimate, cozy, and such a beautiful experience. Thank you to Paige and all the staff! Picture credit to the very best: alana blythe (:

It’s hard to find the words to truly capture just how stunning Pine Ridge Farm is. The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking, but what makes it even more special is Kristin, her husband, and their entire team—they are nothing short of amazing! Throughout our wedding, countless guests couldn’t stop raving about the property. Two of my bridesmaids are now dreaming of getting married at Pine Ridge, and even my mom joked that the venue and service made her want to get married all over again! Beyond the incredible venue, Kristin’s preferred vendors are phenomenal. From the delicious catering by Killer Kitchen and the gorgeous photos captured by McKayla at Bellflower Design, to the unforgettable service from my new best friend Morgan at Pour Maidens, everything was flawless. Even three weeks later, my guests are still showering me with compliments! If you want your wedding to be an unforgettable experience for both you and your guests, don’t wait—book Pine Ridge Farm as soon as you can! You won’t regret it.

"We had our ceremony and reception at The Ardmore Music Hall July 2017 and would choose it all over again! Our guests rave to us still that it was the coolest and best wedding they have ever attended. We are owners of a party band that perform at reception venues all over the tri-state area and we chose AMH because we wanted to marry on stage in a fun, relaxed, and unique environment. The staff could not have been more service-oriented from preplanning meetings up to and including servicing the guests. We have many compliments for the manager Sara for allowing us to decorate as we wanted, making "themed cocktail drinks", coordinating the rest of the very friendly staff and for going above and beyond etc.. We had many bands play throughout the evening and all of the musicians were impressed with the sound crew at AMH, they were absolutely perfectionists with the sound and lighting! Most compliments that we received were that it was such a warm, cool vibe, filled with love throughout the event....exactly what we hoped for. "

We cannot say enough great things about our experience at the Cork Factory Hotel, thanks to the incredible team that made our wedding so special, starting with our first discussions and meeting with Keri! First and foremost, our coordinator, Mary, was an absolute rockstar. From the moment we started planning to the last dance of the night, she went above and beyond to ensure everything was seamless. Her attention to detail, organization, and calming presence made all the difference. She worked tirelessly behind the scenes, and we truly couldn’t have done it without her! The culinary team also deserves a huge shoutout for their flexibility and dedication to accommodating dietary needs. They provided amazing gluten-free options for Christine and select guests, ensuring that everyone had a delicious meal without any worries. All of the food was incredible, and the service was just as impressive, from our rehearsal dinner at the bakers table, our reception, and our morning after breakfast. We also want to recognize Rosetta at the front desk, who went out of her way to fix an issue with our room. She handled everything with professionalism and kindness, making sure we were comfortable and happy. From start to finish, the entire team exceeded our expectations, and we are beyond grateful for their hard work. The Perfect Venue for Our Wedding We cannot recommend Guilford Hall enough as a wedding venue. From the moment we first toured the space, we knew it was the perfect fit for us. The combination of the industrial aesthetic with Art Deco details set the stage for an unforgettable celebration. We held our ceremony in the Beer Garden, hosted cocktail hour in the Beer Garden using the Cocktail Room and Cigar Lounge, and had our reception upstairs in the Crown Room. The flow of the event worked perfectly, and the pictures we captured in those spaces are absolutely incredible. The venue fit our style in every way. We chose a buffet for dinner, and it was amazing. Our guests are still talking about how much they loved the food—especially the crab cakes, chicken, and steak. Our signature drinks were made just how we wanted them, and the bar service was top-notch. A huge shoutout to Chef Mauricio and the entire kitchen staff for going above and beyond to help us curate the perfect menu and flawlessly serving 115 guests. The food was incredible and never stopped coming—our guests couldn’t stop raving. We also want to give special recognition to Dani, the Events Planner at Guilford Hall. Dani made us feel incredibly comfortable from start to finish. She went out of her way multiple times to make sure everything went smoothly and that we felt at ease throughout the process. Her attention to detail was unmatched, and without her, we would have been all over the place. She is absolutely incredible—if you have the chance to work with her, take it. She went above and beyond every step of the way to make our day perfect. Working with the entire Guilford Hall team was an absolute breeze. Every staff member was professional, accommodating, and dedicated to making our vision come to life. We couldn’t be more grateful for everything they did to help us host the wedding and reception of our dreams. If you’re looking for a venue that delivers unforgettable memories, exceptional service, and a one-of-a-kind atmosphere—look no further than Guilford Hall.

After dinner, head back out to the main bar and hit up the dance floor, or head outside to Haas Biergarten. Outside we have a bar that is operational May-October, lawn games, fire pits, and a great view of the Ben Franklin Bridge!

Venue considerations

  • Large venue, not ideal for small guest lists
  • On-site parking not available
  • No on-site guest accommodations
My husband and I hosted our summer wedding with La Peg at Fringe Arts last summer and it could not have been a more perfect day and the best planning and execution experience, from start to finish. We were an out of town couple planning our wedding here, as we moved from Philly to DC, so communication was really important throughout the process, and everyone we worked with made sure to keep communication open and frequent. We loved how unique La Peg’s atmosphere was for our black & white, modern, elegant black tie wedding. The exposed brick, high vaulted ceilings, and industrial, urban elements juxtaposed perfectly against pure white floral clouds hanging in their theatre space, with dark linens. Everything I had envisioned in my mind came to life perfectly in this space. The first reason we wanted to have our wedding here was because when we lived in Philadelphia, we loved dining here and their food was always incredible. It was even better on our wedding night. We had the best experience hand selecting our menu, having a lot of flexibility and our guests were wowed with the options we selected, along with a bar that was fully stocked and no glass was ever empty. A year later and guests are still raving about how unique our venue was, how incredible the food and drink was, and how seamless the staff made the entire experience. My husband and I say the same. I would do it all over again with them. The absolute best night of our lives. Thank you to everyone at La Peg at Fringe Arts for making our wedding so perfect and memorable!

My partner and I had the best experience working with Deyna Hamilton from Manayunk Brewing for our wedding reception! From the moment we booked the space a year prior, Deyna was so hands-on with us and helped with everything along the way. Every time we met, she kept us on track and helped us organize our to-do list and was such a pleasure to work with. She clearly has a ton of experience with planning and organizing events, and on the day-of, Deyna made sure we had the most carefree and fun time! The cocktail hour & reception space were perfect for my husband and I. We hosted about 80 people, so everybody had a lot of room to mingle and have drinks and dance. We chose to do stations for dinner, and they were a hit! Everybody told us how much they enjoyed the food during the cocktail hour and reception. The chef at Manayunk is very good! Deyna helped us choose all of the food in the months leading up to our reception which was also a load off our minds! We had a great time utilizing the bridal suite in the hours before our reception - it was a great space to have drinks and snacks with our family, put together some of our decor, and get ready. Deyna and the other staffers helped us tremendously by putting together the reception & cocktail hour space with all of our decorations, flowers, and photos. Deyna provided recommendations for vendors, so it was easy to choose a DJ (John Cicala from Silver Sounds) who already knew the venue! We can’t recommend Manayunk and Deyna enough. They were so wonderful to us! Thank you for everything!

As a queer couple, it was imperative to us that we find a venue where we felt truly comfortable and excited about hosting such a big event. Lilah was exactly that. The space is stunning and speaks for itself, as does the food—many of our guests said was the best they’d had. But the way Lilah really sets itself apart from all the other venues in Philly—or really, any other venue we’ve ever been to—is its staff. Shari, Neira, Andy, Alysha, Day, and Jess (just to name a few) were all consummate professionals and, more importantly, complete delights to work with. Jess in particular—her formal title is director of events, but we think guru is more fitting—was instrumental as our month-of coordinator and we don’t know what we would’ve done without her. She guided us towards the best vendors and helped us plan and execute every last detail on a relatively expedited timeline. Most importantly, she made sure that we were well-fed, hydrated, centered, and downright joyful on the big day (even going out of her way to plan and document certain quiet moments that ended up being our favorites of the entire weekend). What’s more is that she and the entire Lilah team somehow made every attendee felt the same level of cared-for and looked-after too. We couldn’t be more thrilled with Lilah and are so grateful it exists.

Where do I even begin? From the moment I started searching for a “micro wedding” venue, I kept coming up short—until I stumbled upon Elegant Celebrations. What an absolute hidden gem! If you’re looking for a small, intimate, and truly magical setting for your special day, this is the place to be. From our very first interaction, Liz—the fabulous owner—was attentive, kind, patient, and incredibly accommodating. She instantly understood my vision and did everything in her power to bring it to life. I was this close to being a “crazy bride,” but Liz’s calming presence, flexibility, and commitment to making everything perfect turned my stress into pure joy. She treated every detail with care and made me feel like my ideas truly mattered. The venue itself is stunning, spotless, and beautifully designed—but because I’m extra (and proud of it!), I wanted to add a few personal touches. Liz and her team not only welcomed my ideas with open arms, they helped bring them to life with such care and professionalism. I was included every step of the way, and it truly felt like a collaborative labor of love. I chose what I believe was called the Ultimate Package—which included early entry, access to the bridal suite, and a gorgeous presentation of fruit, donuts, orange juice, and water. Of course, I had to add my own sparkle to the bridal suite décor, and Liz let me do so with a smile and total support. On the day itself, Liz and her team ran the wedding like a perfectly orchestrated production. I honestly felt like royalty! Everything went off without a hitch, and the love and warmth in the air were palpable. It was everything I dreamed of—and more. And I cannot forget Jazmine, our wedding officiant! From the first phone call, we just clicked. She was warm, funny, intentional, and felt like an old friend I had known forever. She brought such grace and energy to the ceremony—it wouldn’t have been the same without her. Liz even did the unimaginable: she literally stopped traffic so I could get the perfect street photo. Who does that? Liz does—and it’s just one of the many reasons why she and her team will forever have a special place in my heart. If you’re thinking about booking Elegant Celebrations—do it. You’ll be in the best hands with people who genuinely care. Liz, Jazmine, and the entire team are rare gems in today’s world. I’m forever grateful for them and for the unforgettable memories they helped create.
