She took all the info she needed about our favorite flowers, wanting to prioritize seasonal blooms, and style inspiration, and created absolute magic for us! We were initially planning on getting married outside and had to shift plans at the last minute because of an incoming Nor’easter. Erica was flexible and confident in her ability to make our new venue (our home) look as wonderful as possible. She delivered that and more, helping my husband with his pocket square and hanging out with our little dog who wanted to keep her company on the morning of. I can’t recommend Erica enough, I never felt pressured to go with more traditional or toned down flowers, she fully accepted and ran with our vision and brought it to life in ways I could have never imagined! She made a flower hairpiece for me, a pocket square for my husband, and collars for our dogs in addition to the classic bouquet and ceremony/reception flowers. “When I was looking for floral vendors for my July 2024 wedding in Block Island, I came across Ayla’s Instagram, and I knew immediately I had to work with her. I fell in love with the whimsical, natural, English-garden vibe of her florals, and I just thought she was the coolest person. From the first conversation we had, it felt like she “got” me, suggesting flowers, designs, and concepts better than I could possibly articulate myself. She was incredibly thoughtful putting together multiple proposals that fit our vision and our budget. The entire planning process couldn’t have been easier because of how sweet, communicative, and easy Ayla was to work with. Cut to the wedding day, and I was honestly speechless seeing her work come to life in our tent. Ayla is an ARTIST. She created a gorgeous 65 ft table runner for our head table that was so dreamy I still think about it. The bouquets were exactly what I was looking for - natural and simple but packed a stunning punch. Then there was the tent entrance installation, which was so beautiful on its own but also so thoughtfully designed to enhance the view and setting of our venue. She was respectful of our budget, had a clear, well-structured contract, and payment through her professional portal was incredibly easy. Everything was delivered, set-up, and cleaned up flawlessly and on-time. Importantly, if there were any issues day-of, we didn’t hear about it or take on any of that stress (though with her careful planning, I bet there weren’t any fires to put out!) While these sound like boring logistics, all of this professional preparation on N&V’s part saved us a ton of time and stress wedding planning. Positivity and good energy: Naomi herself is the warmest and most effusively positive person - that was clear from our very first consultation call with her and was even more true on the day of our wedding.
