Heist opened its doors in 2012, as Charlotte's only Craft Brewpub. Originally brewing on a 10HL German brewhouse, we expanded in 2017, adding 30 barrel production facility. Our original focus was on small-batch beer in the traditional Belgian and German style brews. In 2016, we found our stride, creating the original hazy IPA in North Carolina, CitraQuench'l. Since then, we have worked tirelessly to expand our portfolio, now ranging from hazy IPAs and pilsners to fruited sours and adjuncted stouts. We still make the occasional small batches, which are typically kept in house for pours at both our locations.

We have several old-school philosophies about life and business and one driving force is our philosophy that, if the beer is good enough, folks will find out. So we don’t pay for advertising, we rely on word of mouth. It’ll give us a lot of satisfaction knowing that we succeed because folks care about us and our beer.

State of Confusion- Charlotte is a restaurant located in the vibrant neighborhood of LoSo in Charlotte, North Carolina. It offers a unique culinary experience with made-from-scratch dishes that are influenced by New Orleans, Miami and South America.
