We are a married couple of photographers. Within years of career, we discovered what’s really matters - we want to make people happy. Weddings have it all: new interesting people, touching stories, warm family relationships, tears. A lot of tears! Oh, don’t forget dances and sparklers! So, it’s fun! 🙂 Also, we love weddings because it’s the most challenging kind of photography in the field, it combines all the genres. My name is, yensy marquez Born in the Dominican Republic where I spent my early childhood before moving to the United States at the age of 5. I have always had love for the arts and music. I spent my teenage years drawing cartoons and Japanase manga. I discovered my love for photography during my late teenage years when I got my hands on my first cellphone with a camera. I was always the go to picture person during family events and gatherings. Though they were admittedly average at the time, everyone loved them and always encouraged me to get a real camera. I finally saved up for one and never looked back.

I’m Amy - the one behind Amy Leigh Photography. I am an event and portrait photographer capturing lasting memories for those all over Long Island. Since then, I've worked with many companies as a Professional Freelance Photographer. From School Portraits, many DJs, and on to Wedding Photographers; I've had a lot of experience in the field. I've been wedding photographer for over 15 years now and love every minute of it. From the first detail shots to the last dance! I'm very hands on in assisting my couples plan their event so their day runs seamlessly and stress free. I'm always just a text or an email away(Unless I'm on an event of course!) I take a very moment based approach to my photography to make it feel as natural as possible.

I grew up in Lindenhurst, New York and had my first photography exhibit at the Lindenhurst Library. When I was in High School, my father worked for the airlines, so I got to travel the world taking pictures. I displayed them at the library and was hooked. I’ve been a professional wedding and portrait photographer since 1985.
