โMy wife, Kristin, and I initially had engagement photos taken in Denver, CO. When Kristin began looking for a wedding photographer, she scoured for the best in Minnesota. The Knot led us to Michelle Huber Photography and her portfolio was spectacular. Fortunately, Michelle was available for our wedding date because her schedule was rapidly filling up. Despite having a set of engagement photos already taken, we could not turn down an opportunity with Michelle. I want to stress that her photography skills and abilities are magnificent. During the engagement photo session, her personality elevated the entire experience. It was as if we were working with an old friend. Michelle kept the experience lighthearted, she was patient when bystanders meandered into the shot, and never once did we feel as if the session was awkward. Needless to say, after the engagement photo session, we were excited to see her on the wedding day. On the actual wedding day, Michelle and her husband, Trent, are consummate professionals. Trent stayed with my groomsmen and myself, while Michelle was with Kristin and her bridesmaids. While Michelle deserves all the praise that she is due, Trent is on an equal plane. He captured wonderful in-the-moment photos and deftly staged everybody when it was necessary. Never once did I feel like he was an intrusion or the experience was inorganic. When the time came from the first look, transition to the ceremony site, and our numerous stops, Michelle and Trent did not miss a beat. The sheer amount of wholesome candid photos demonstrate their professionalism. We are still surprised at the details that we missed when we were in the moment. We are fortunate that Michelle and Trent captured these moments for us. I must recognize Michelle and Trent's flexibility. I am of Chinese-descent and my parents wanted to perform a tea ceremony prior to the actual ceremony. Michelle and Trent graciously made adjustments and captured this important moment for our families to experience. My family is grateful for their willingness to memorialize a family custom that was not highlighted on our itinerary. Overall, our experience with Michelle Huber Photography is phenomenal. My brother-in-law was impressed with the level of professionalism, quality, and skill, so he booked Michelle and Trent as well. Needless to say, I was overjoyed to work with them again. After that, my best friend/groomsman, Brian, also took my recommendation and booked Michelle. Every time I worked with them, the experience continues to raise the level of expectation for other professionals. We pick back up on old conversations and check-in on life changes. I am highly confident that other Minnesota/Midwest-based photography services cannot match Michelle Huber Photography.
