Doug and the Crew at The Fields of BlackBerry Cove know their stuff! They went above and beyond to ensure a smooth day of event. They have it all! Tables, Linens, China. The catering is top Tier. Our guests were raving over the food quality and variety! They are very accommodating to dietary restrictions as well! Even the vegan folk left with full happy bellies. Definitely let them cater your event! They even have a variety of ceremony locations on the property. We were married at the overlook and the mountain back drop made our ceremony so magical. While Emerald Ridge is an extraordinary venue, it wasn’t the venue that won us over. The owners, Janice & Paul, were the reason we decided we wanted to have our wedding there. Janice was our first point of contact and couldn’t have been more communicative, authentic, personable, and accommodating. They allowed us to take our engagement photos there after touring the property. Paul drove us around on his golf cart and happily answered all of our questions and put us at ease. We hired Malorie as our “month of” wedding coordinator and we’re extremely pleased that we did! She’s clearly an expert when it comes to the property and the wedding planning/execution process. On the day of our wedding she went above and beyond to make us feel as special and comfortable as possible! Mason and Taylor were also extremely accommodating and hard working. The entire staff was incredibly genuine and kind to us and our guests. We highly recommend booking the “No Stress Wedding Weekend” package and adding Thursday night to get the full experience of feeling right at home. Emerald Ridge has a vast inventory of decorations which allowed us to travel lightly from out of town. Emerald Ridge has a focus on keeping their property naturally beautiful and respecting the environment, which we very much appreciated. We truly could not have asked for a better wedding experience! We are grateful from the bottom of our hearts.

From our first conversation with Angie and her team at Cherokee Creek Farm, we knew we had found the right venue. They communicated with us every step of the way and stayed on top of all the details that mattered to us. When we sent over our inspiration and highlighted what was important for our wedding, they took it from there and made it happen perfectly. The property itself is breathtaking with so many options for the ceremony, first look photos, and reception—the house is stunning and the barn is ideal for either setting. Kelly kept us relaxed throughout the entire planning process, and Angie even helped us book our other vendors to make everything seamless. Our wedding turned out better than we ever dreamed, and we can't thank the team enough for making it so special.

Waldensian Heritage Venues provided a truly unique and memorable experience for my client’s wedding. The venue had a mysterious and authentic ambiance and reasonable price point. The layout was easy to navigate, which made it simple to keep the bride and groom separate before the ceremony. We were particularly impressed by the beautiful lighting at the top of the stairs, which created a stunning backdrop for our first look photos. Overall, Waldensian Heritage Venues exceeded our expectations and helped make our special day even more magical.
