I bought my first DSLR camera in 2004 when my now wife, Tracey, and I were taking a cruise to Alaska. For a monumental trip like this, I HAD to get an amazing camera. Those 8.2 megapixels with nine four points had me in LOVE. Ever since then, the ability of a photograph to be able to freeze time; freeze an emotion; freeze a memory has kept me addicted. Whether it’s getting a great angle, finding light that tells the story, or capturing the true personality of someone; it all brings a smile to my face and hopefully yours!

I can still hear my dad, who has now passed, say "if you don't sit still we will be here all day". As an adult, I now get it. Not being able to talk with my dad everyday or ask for advice, I'm so thankful to have albums full of family photos to hold in my hands. I would steal my parent's film camera and take dozens (okay maybe hundreds) of blurry photos of our dog.
