“We’ve said it many times during the wedding planning process and we’ll continue to shout it to the hills: hiring Kristy and her team was the best decision we’ve ever made and the best money we’ve ever spent. From the consultation and throughout the entire process Kristy was lovely to work with and incredibly friendly and personal but also always on top of everything. She flagged so many little details that we never would have thought of but led to a much smoother wedding day. Her detailed resources, templates, and documents were invaluable, but she was also flexible when I needed to make my own spreadsheets to keep everything straight in a way that worked with my brain. The timeline she created for us was a work of art and a thing of beauty and something I could have never done on my own. She included every single facet of the event from load in and load out for every vendor down to when we needed to bring our checkbook. Handing communications with vendors to her team in the last few months was amazing and definitely reduced our stress levels. While the timeline was delayed (due to another vendor), Kristy pivoted quickly and ensured that things got back on track and as close to the plan as possible. When we changed our mind on things mid-wedding (like if we wanted a more formal send off) she ensured that it was actually what we wanted but then changed to accommodate it. She also organized tear down of all the decor so that all we had to do was show up the morning after to pick up our belongings. As a queer couple, one of whom is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, Kristy and her team made us feel welcomed and affirmed for the entire process while vetting vendors to make sure they were LGBT friendly and listing our (and our wedding party’s) pronouns on resource sheets so that the whole vendor team was aware and misgendering was as limited as possible (and never by Kristy or her team). She (or a team member?) also recommended many amazing vendors to us including our amazing DJ who had the exact vibe we wanted (gay pop dance party) and ensured the dance floor was full and everyone loved the music choices. Kristy led our rehearsal like a (very nice) drill sergeant, which made it so much more efficient and effective than others I’ve been a part of. The ceremony went off without any major hitches and everyone (including 13 wedding party members, both of our parents, our officiant, and us) knew where they needed to be and when to do what. I was incredibly impressed and super grateful. It also ensured that I didn’t need to think or worry about the little details like making sure seats were reserved and that people started walking at the right time. My only regret is that we didn’t have the budget to have her team plan our rehearsal dinner as well. That experience versus the day of the wedding was a huge contrast. On the day of, I could answer every question with “ask Kristy” and she would always have the answer. As a very anxious and “type A” person I fully trusted Kristy and her team throughout the process which was wonderful for my sanity. “Oh my goodness! Where do I start?! Candice/Signed in Pink Events was INCREDIBLE!!!! Talk about someone who goes above and beyond to bring your wedding day vision to life! I came across (Signed in Pink Events) as a recommendation from a bridal group on social media. After looking at some of her really positive 5 star reviews, I decided to reach out to her. I originally was looking for a day of coordinator when I reached out to Candice, however when I first saw her prices, I realized I could afford the month of coordination services which ended up being a great idea. I hired Candice/Signed in Pink Events over a year before my wedding on December 20th. From the moment I hired her, she IMMEDIATELY, put me at ease. She walked me through all of their services, the process, asked me plenty of questions to get a good feel of what I want and provided a lot of clarity for me. I quickly realized, she knew what she was doing! Candice and her team were hired for “month of coordination” however, Candice made herself available to me for whenever I had a question or needed some advisement. Over the year, she really helped me through the wedding planning process, even when I hired an untrustworthy beauty vendor. With her support and guidance, I was able to quickly get out of that contract and later went on to work with an AMAZING team of beauty vendors that Candice went back to verify. As type A as I am as a person, I truly felt that I could trust Candice’s judgement and knowledge and she NEVER steered me wrong! I was even able to relax a little bit with her supporting me. Candice also handled my wedding decor and I was THRILLED that I went with her. She managed to handle all the vendor stuff AND perfectly execute my husband and I’s decor vision. I checked in Candice at least every couple of weeks just because lol She is such a fun and helpful person, it was very easy to work with her and come to her for my bridal anxiety needs or general questions. By the time we were coming up on the time for her to officially begin her “month of” services, she knew EVERYTHING we wanted, how we wanted it, all of the vendors we were using, who she needed to follow up with, how to she was going to plan out walkthrough, meetings. She had her questions ready for vendors, welcome card for vendors, rehearsal layouts ready…just the whole 9 yards (and then some)! She had everything running like a well oiled machine leading up to the wedding day, and on the wedding day, she handled everything! I can’t tell you how many times she told me “I got you! Don’t worry about anything!” and she meant every word of it! She really had it! All the coordination between vendors, the decor vision, the schedule…it was all so smooth! And she got along with every one of my vendors! And they easily went to her with no issues. The day of my wedding was INCREDIBLE!!! All the decor was PERFECT!!! She went above and beyond!!! I was so excited!!! It was all worth it! She was the absolute best at what she does! No wonder she is an award winning event coordinator. She is an absolutely joy! If ANYONE is looking for a wedding event coordinator look no further! You have found her!!! She is professional, helpful, kind, detail oriented, organized, down to earth but also she is about her business! She and her team will make your vision happen!
