“I genuinely cannot say enough wonderful things about The Seclusion! From the breathtaking mountain views to the extraordinary attention to detail, this venue is an absolute gem. But what truly sets it apart is the incredible people behind it, who went above and beyond to make our wedding everything we envisioned (and trust me, we had some pretty unconventional ideas!). The property itself is STUNNING. Tucked away on sprawling private acreage, it feels like your own little slice of paradise. Our outdoor ceremony took place atop a hill with the mountains stretching out behind us, and I truly cannot imagine a more spectacular backdrop. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with gorgeous trees, charming outdoor art, cozy firepits, and thoughtfully designed spaces that flow effortlessly into one another. The reception space is equally spectacular! Rather than the stark, cookie-cutter aesthetic of so many venues, The Seclusion has this wonderful blend of old-world charm, eclectic elegance, and understated luxury. Every piece of furniture, antique accent, and decorative detail feels intentionally curated. It's sophisticated and upscale without sacrificing an ounce of warmth or comfort. The getting-ready spaces were also incredibly thoughtful! The bridal loft above the reception hall was adorable and comfortable, with cozy couches, styling stations, and plenty of room for food and festivities. Being able to sneak upstairs to freshen up during the reception was an unexpected bonus! The groomsmen had their own separate cottage with a masculine, vintage railway-lounge vibe and outdoor fireplace. Close enough for convenience, but far enough away to keep us separated. The gorgeous on-site Airbnb was another fantastic perk, particularly for older family members who appreciated somewhere nearby to retreat and recharge. But as spectacular as the property is, the owners are what made our experience truly exceptional. They are some of the kindest, most genuine, down-to-earth people you could hope to work with. They were consistently responsive, accommodating, and genuinely enthusiastic about helping us create a wedding that reflected who we are. And when I say accommodating, I mean they enthusiastically embraced my plans to RIDE MY HORSE INTO THE CEREMONY and make our grand exit on a DIRT BIKE! They even took the time to meet with us beforehand so I could bring my horse out to practice. Rather than treating our unusual requests as inconveniences, they seemed genuinely excited to help make them happen. I never felt like we were being squeezed into someone else's idea of what a wedding should look like. They wanted ours to be exactly what we dreamed of, however unconventional that might be! The only thing worth mentioning is that the venue is a bit of a trek down country roads, and cell service can be spotty until you reach the property. That said, the drive is absolutely worth it, and the seclusion is part of what makes this place so magical! It's clear that an immense amount of thought, care, and love has gone into every corner of the property, and that same care extends to the couples who celebrate there. Choosing The Seclusion was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. If you're looking for jaw-dropping scenery, impeccable attention to detail, and owners who genuinely care about making your vision come to life, LOOK NO FURTHER. I would choose them again in a heartbeat!”

“We couldn't have asked for a better venue than Virginia Mountain Vineyard. From our first conversation, Jacqui and her team were responsive and easy to work with, answering all our questions and making us feel heard throughout the planning process. The property itself is stunning and spacious, with flexible options to handle whatever the weather threw at us on our big day. What really stood out was how Jacqui anticipated our needs—when a small issue popped up during the rehearsal, she jumped in and fixed it without us even having to ask. She's genuinely warm, invested in making everything run smoothly, and the wine is incredible too. We'd recommend Virginia Mountain Vineyard to any couple looking for a venue with heart.”
