We started the Chestnut Grove Event and Wedding Center in pastoral Brownsville California with the goal of providing premium service. We want to help happy couples begin their lives together in a beautiful outdoor setting, rich with the history of Northern California’s gold rush. The site here was first peopled by the Maidu. Evidence of their presence can be viewed near the seasonal stream, where grinding rocks tell of food preparation. Our goal is to provide the best event we can to each client. We have a covered deck on a knoll that can seat 40 (we can remove the picnic benches). Only very basic cooking facilities, but we work with caterers often for our events. Our firepit could be a magical spot for post-dinner campfire hangout. And we offer lawngames, hiking trails, and a full disc-golf course, if you have a sporty crowd.
