Heya! Glad to see you here! I’m a former cubicle worker, who left everything behind to follow my heart. I always did what was expected of me, but it never felt quite right until I decided to take the leap to being a wedding and family photographer. Once I took that leap the universe lined up and made magic happen. I’ve always had a deep sense of nostalgia and wanting to hold on to moments, and photography has been the means for me to do that for myself, and now for YOU!

I’m a wife, dog mom and luxury elopement photographer who has happily made her home in the New York City area for the past 15+ years. For me, wedding photography — whether there’s 200 guests or just two people total — is about capturing a feeling. It’s that wave of relief on your partner’s face the moment they see you. Lucas knew at a young age that his future consisted of getting to work with others while simultaneously creating art and beauty. Lucas moved to NYC at the age of eighteen from the deep south ready to hit the ground running and chase his every dream. He attended a makeup and design school and after completion wasted no time getting his career started. After years of working in the makeup artist industry, Lucas has tried a taste of just about anything you could think of. Between personal clients, celebrities, editorial photo shoots, and of course weddings, Lucas has truly come to understand his strength and success when working with brides.

At a very early age, I was inspired by the arts and have been obsessed with making things with my hands ever since. I have always loved to paint, draw, and craft. I grew up in New York City and couldn't help but become fascinated with fashion and beauty as well. I started to play around with my own hair and makeup and it became an important part of my personal style and how I choose to express myself to the world. After years of career hunting and soul searching, my passion for hair and makeup never wavered. I would style my friends and family for events and weddings and the journey of starting my own business and becoming my own boss began.

Sean Kershaw & the New Jack Ramblers formed in 2001 as a loose collective of musicians from various backgrounds who got together to play country music for fun. By the mid-aughts the band (now firmly centered around Yours Truly, Sean Kershaw) was a well-honed, professional music outfit playing everything from club dates to weddings, festivals and corporate and charity events. A CD, Coney Island Cowboy was released and the band hit the road, touring the East coast, California and Alaska. Sean also toured Australia using local musicians. Jess’ passion towards food comes from growing up in a bi-cultural and bilingual home where life revolved around the kitchen table. As a Peruvian, Irish New Jerseyian, she spent most of her childhood in NJ, as well as Lima, Peru. Seeing such different worlds gave her a sense of belonging to a global community. Her travels began first to Peru, visiting family, then to Europe and Latin America where she lived in Spain, studied in Italy and worked in Mexico. The inspiration for Hearth & Table is to bring us back to the table. Everyone understands the concept of breaking bread. Her hope is that Hearth & Table will help everyone experience it.
