“Melissa and her staff at Amaranth Florist were a joy to work with, and I highly recommend them. We began working with them in 2019 for my daughter's 2020 wedding. Then the pandemic hit and we had to reschedule for 2021. Amaranth was with us every step of the way, adjusting not just date but venue changes. As we got closer to the actual wedding date, our numbers kept dropping as folks became concerned about traveling due to Covid. Melissa was so responsive and flexible in making the needed changes. What I really appreciated about them was their willingness to work within our budget, allowing us trim some costs by providing our own candles and candle holders. As for the flowers, they were truly lovely. In particular, they worked hard to create a bridal bouquet that minimized overly scented blooms, to accommodate my daughter's allergies. All the bridesmaid bouquets and grooms people's boutonnieres were gorgeous. The pallet was white and green and they found varied textures and hues to make the bouquets really pop. The decorated chuppah and simple greenery on the tables was exactly what my daughter and her husband wanted. Amaranth delivered beautiful flowers at a reasonable cost and did so with top notch service. I cannot recommend Melissa and her team more highly!”

When I first started searching, I really struggled to find a florist who was within a reasonable budget for our floral requirements. Blooms by JG was able to give us a bridal bouquet, 7 bridesmaids bouquets, 1 pocket boutonnière for my husband, 10 regular boutonnières for the groomsmen/fathers, two substantially large and absolutely gorgeous floral pieces for our arch/arbor, and approximately 90ish single white roses for our centerpieces all within our floral budget! Her eye for design was amazing - the point where I often referred to her formal proposal when showing friends and family our wedding plans, and even used it as inspiration while working with our planner on the overall vision board. Adena was very proactive, clear, and responsive in all communication, which we especially appreciated given the evolving tariff situation. She was very collaborative when it came time to select upgraded rentals and incorporate personalized elements like a cake meadow and aisle decorations. Every detail felt intentional, cohesive, and beautifully executed. She went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, like including lilacs for my grandma and coordinating with a local non-profit so our arrangements could be repurposed for hospitals and assisted living communities after the wedding. Of all our vendors, I had so much confidence in Adena’s vision and execution. When I look back at wedding photos, I’m SO happy with how the floral details turned out, and there’s not a single thing I would have changed. We also got so many guest compliments on our florals. My only regret is not budgeting even more for flowers, because Adena’s work was truly that stunning!”
