Arie T. Photography, LLC

Lithonia, GA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,895
  • Serves Brattleboro, VT for additional fees

Welcome to Arie T. Photography, a black queer woman-owned and operated traveling portrait and wedding photography service based out of the Georgia and Michigan! I've had the honor of capturing all walks of life across the USA with hopes of taking it worldwide. I'm known for my use of natural light, and "unposed” stress-free approach when it comes to my clients. If you feel like you’re awkward in front of the camera, I’ll take that as a challenge to prove you wrong because I can be awkward too.

Awarded Best of Zola
Wow, where to begin! Arie did a phenomenal job as our wedding photographer! We found Arie through the business Once Like A Spark, and with scheduling her short notice (2 weeks before the wedding), she did an amazing job capturing our vision and style. We honestly love each photo she took and had a really difficult time choosing 60 out of 500 for our album! Arie communicated really well before and throughout the wedding day, was on time to capture getting ready photos, and was attentive throughout the whole night. We admired how she took creative liberty and made sure to capture all the key moments as well as the small, sweet moments too. Even during dinner time, Arie made sure we got photos with each guest, which we greatly appreciated. While we only spent one day together, Arie seems like such a great person with a passion for capturing wedding days with love, care, and a dash of humor. Definitely book Arie for your next event, you won't regret it!

Thomson & Thomson Photography

Boston, MA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,800
  • Serves Brattleboro, VT for additional fees

We combine storytelling with an eye for detail and emotion to capture the memories of your wedding day. We are a happily married couple and before starting our business, Mark worked as a photojournalist and Emily focused on fine art photography. We love weddings - from start to finish, we are there for you to make sure we meet all your needs and to make beautiful photographs that will last a lifetime.

Awarded Best of Zola
Thomson and Thomson were so incredible to work with. For our wedding in July 2023, they listened to our preferences on style and really captured the emotions we felt. They took both more stereotypical wedding portraits of us, as well as more in-the-moment type photos. They also did a great job wrangling our families for photos together, kept us on time, and toured our wedding venue in advance just to make sure we were on the same page about location and atmosphere! They also did our engagement photos, and had quick turnaround time for both wedding and engagement pix. We couldn't be happier with them!!

You are probably assuming my about me section will have a story about how I always wanted to be a photographer, I came out of the womb holding a camera, but that couldn’t be me. I stumbled into it, literally. I had no plans to become a wedding photographer. I was either going to follow my dad’s path and go to dental school, or become a social worker. But a freshman in college decided to shoot a few photos for fun, and now over eight years and almost 200 weddings later, I could not imagine myself doing anything else. This is my dream job!

Awarded Best of Zola
Abbey has captured so many moments of my life. Our engagement shoot, wedding, and plenty of family pictures. She always makes what could be a painful experience FUN. So much fun even my husband enjoys it :)

I offer Fun, Elegant, and Exciting Wedding & Engagement Photography. I'd love to be your photographer. My style, I'm a photojournalist. I capture styled and candid shots as they happen. Some people say I have a sixth sense when it comes to capturing the perfect moment. I'd say it because I love my job and have had a great deal of practice doing it.

Awarded Best of Zola
Working with Sean was a pleasure! I had contacted him with only 10 days left for my surprise proposal and his quick responses and on-point communication really put me at ease. Talking over the details of the surprise helped me fine tune the location and setting so he could capture some perfect moments. Sean made sure he was around throughout the night; before the surprise and afterwards for the party to capture the entire night. That way we got a great sense of the entire time for our everlasting memories. The pictures have come out great and everyone has loved them!

Ledyard, CT
  • Editorial style
  • Starts at $3,995
  • Serves Brattleboro, VT for additional fees

Black Connecticut wedding photographer, purveyor of the artistically-engineered photography experience. That's a crafty way of saying, I'm a computer nerd who's pretty good at photography and believes in great service! Digital image gallery, print rights, and beautiful, physical prints included with every package. My work focuses on telling my couples’ wedding day love stories through the pictures I capture. Artwork is the goal, whether it’s a highly-stylized posed photo or a moment where a loved one is emoting.

Awarded Best of Zola
From the minute I first connected with Terrence via email, I knew that he was a gem. I had communicated with several other photographers (some more expensive, some cheaper) and even that first email message from Terrence helped me know we had found out wedding photographer. Our initial Zoom consult was personal and warm, he displayed his style, professionalism, sense of humor and flexibility. Our engagement photo shoot was comfortable and we loved the outcome. It was a great way for us to get to know each other, share what types of photos of ourselves we liked the most, and get even more excited about what art Terrence would create for our big day. When our wedding day arrived, Terrence was amazing, his assistant was fantastic, and our friends and family all fell in love with him too. Not only did he make sure he got every shot we wanted (and then some) but he helped keep our schedule on time and the day running smoothly. The photos…. Terrence is just amazing at his craft. He can shift between light and airy and dramatic in a heartbeat, giving us depth to our story that day that we could have never imagined. The digital photos are amazing but Terrence’s work just shines in print form, which is why all of his packages include prints. In summary, hire Terrence. Now… before your date is booked… because he is simply one of the top photographers in CT and the secret is getting out!!

Hey there! Since you are trusting me to capture these special moments in your life, I figured you should probably know a bit about me, right? I am a Huntsville, Alabama native, but moved to Nashville after graduating from the University of Alabama in 2013. ROLL TIDE! Although I consider Nashville home, I am anything but a homebody. I love traveling and exploring new places (especially the food at those places!). I even studied abroad in Italy, which let me tell you, was a food lover's dream. I have always felt like an old soul trapped in a millennial’s body. I would rather listen to Frank Sinatra than anything on the radio today.

Awarded Best of Zola
Diana shot our Valentine’s elopement in Franklin and was an absolute joy to work with! She was so much fun and kept us both laughing and comfortable despite our nerves. Neither of us enjoy being photographed but Diana made it comfortable and effortless. I cannot recommend her enough!

Hi! I'm Sarah. Congratulations on taking the next step in your wedding planning! Choosing to work with me earns you more than just a photographer; you get a hype-girl, a dress fluffer, a confidant and a new best friend. Since we are now future besties, here's what you should know about me: My love for portraiture stems from the joy it brings me to make others feel beautiful. Few things make me feel as giddy as photographing weddings, engagements & proposals, and I can't wait to capture the next stage of your love story. My strengths lie in natural lighting, illuminating colors, and catching the candid moments that make you, you.

Awarded Best of Zola
We had to change photographers due to changing venues, and like a beacon of light or a divine intervention from God- I was referred to Sarah by another photographer. From our first zoom meeting I knew she was the one (it took me faster to realize she was the one than it took me to realize my husband was the one!). She was just so knowledgeable and passionate about her craft. She had such a burst of energy and enthusiasm which was very needed, because the time we were going through was so stressful. Fast forward to the wedding day, we were running behind because other vendors were super late. I was even more stressed and there were too many details to remember. Sarah was extremely patient and kind. She made me feel beautiful and grounded. She kept praising me and guiding me through pictures. I got sneak peeks in less than a week and I almost fainted at the beauty of them! I couldn’t believe they were my pictures. If the sneak peeks were that beautiful, I cannot WAIT to see the rest! Sarah please don’t stop doing what you do. You truly have a gift. You listened to what I wanted, you hyped us up, you ignored my bridezilla moments and you worked soooo hard to capture our beautiful day. If we need an NYC photoshoot, you’ll be the first one to call! We love you 3

If you're the kind of couple that would prefer their photographer feel like one of the guests as opposed to a paparazzi, and if when the neighbors complain about the noise, you just invite them to the party, keep reading. I take a documentary-style approach to my weddings. Roaming with a camera, I capture the candid moments and small details that make your wedding unique to you, while making sure to set aside time for a few special portraits.
