His guidance, checklists, and constant communication made an incredibly stressful situation feel possible and supported. Eddie’s team—Tara, Dougie, and Wendy—were just as amazing. Tara was more than a coordinator; she was compassionate, calming, and fully invested in making sure our family felt cared for. We truly could not have done this without her. Dougie worked behind the scenes like magic, efficiently setting up and tearing down with ease, and Wendy handled the bar flawlessly—even with our lively crowd. The property is beautiful, and having the wedding party stay on‑site the night before meant more than words can express. The lodge and cabin are stunning, the food was absolutely incredible (we received so many heartfelt compliments), and even with an impending ice and snowstorm, my daughter and son‑in‑law had the wedding of their dreams. Poplar Hill is a 100 acre farm that was built in 1790. The home is surrounded by mature landscape with English boxwoods and crepe myrtles that are 100 plus years old. Every couple and family that comes to Poplar Hill tell us that our pictures do not do it justice! We take pride in the care of the house and grounds and cherish the opportunity to share it with others!
