The Farm at Frog Hollow is an event venue with a difference. Architecturally, the barn is referred to as a “monitor” style, and its distinctive look was developed in the 1890s. Remember, that before weddings took over, barns were first and foremost a dwelling for livestock and a repository for hay and grain, and the monitor design created optimal flow of air and light, better both for the animals and their feed. We make sure to find all the hidden gems Michigan has to offer on the way. During Michigan summers we love being on, or in, the water. Kayaking is a personal favorite of ours. Although, I think my happiest place is walking alongside the ocean — I can’t describe how it makes my heart feel to be there! Aj and I enjoy trying new craft beers from all around the state. I always have a bottle of champagne in the fridge while Aj is always trying different kinds of scotch. Hence the names of our wedding packages.
