She had a list of questions to help with the planning process, helped us understand their packages and make adjustments as we needed, and answered all of my emails with random thoughts. The venue set everything up for us and took a huge chunk of our to do list off of our plate! Jen and Martin were fantastic as well at our rehearsal dinner and wedding day making sure everything went off without a hitch. “Had our wedding 9/14/24. Absolutely amazing. Katy was so helpful and attentive and made planning a breeze. The staff were absolutely amazing and helped every step of the way. They would bring me drinks or anything I needed, helped carried my bouquet when I was walking with my dress, and even brought the golf cart around from the train since we were running late for our first dance. We rented out the slide and train and both were a HUGE hit. Everyone the next day raved about how much fun they had and it was one of the best weddings they have ever been too. The staff even let the slide go for another half hour since the kids (and adults) were having so much fun. Definitely recommend this venue if you want a rustic vibe.”

“CityGate Grille is THE hidden gem in Naperville! I have DJ'd several times at CityGate Grille and this is one of the few venues in the Chicagoland area that I will refer to my clients. The staff on the day of your wedding are timely, professional, courteous, and will stop at nothing to give you one of the best experiences of your life! Even at a vendor table, they treat you with respect and ask if there is anything we need - and, again, that's just at a VENDOR TABLE! Secondly, the space is beautiful! CityGate's lawn and patio ceremony areas are perfect! Confined to just your family and friends, there will be no worries of having random people walking by during your ceremony - which I personally love as your ceremony needs to be intimate between you, your spouse, and your guests. The actual reception space is gorgeous! Floor-to-ceiling windows looking out to the patio coupled with aesthetically-pleasing ceiling lights and bar with all of the fixin's for that perfect cocktail will keep you and your guests more than satisfied throughout your reception.
