I'm Charissa owner & lead planner. I'm the twenty-something-year-old that's gone from throwing "Weddings" in her neighbor's driveway, to throwing them in some pretty amazing spaces. With over a decade of experience in weddings and corporate events, this isn't my first rodeo. Weddings are sort of my thing!

A Bupp Event was built after a huge move to the south and a new baby in tow. After 7 months of an extended maternity leave from events and the DC market I found I really missed events! The creative designs, the logistical details, the 'friendor' relationships. I missed it all. I decided to dive back into events, most specifically weddings, giving me the opportunity to connect with all these beautiful couples and a whole new set of vendors.

I have been in education for about 10 years, which is my main career. I decided to start this business after planning my own wedding and honeymoon. I realized that I really enjoy it and that I'm really good at it. I also love to perform on stage! I find that all of these skills (organization, budgeting, education, and theatre) combine well to make a perfect consultant!
