After working eight years in New York City within the fashion industry, I decided to develop one of my childhood passions, art. Since I was a child, I viewed the world through an artist’s eye with an especially adoring love for floral design. Colors and textures - even the way they move. All of this comes together to tell my clients' unique story through floral design. To me, nothing is more fulfilling than starting with a blank canvas, bringing together just the right pieces, and letting the visual narrative flow on its own.

Our mom started her business when we were very young, so we grew up learning everything from her, and on that journey we were growing in being creative with wedding design and florals. After working with flowers for many years Stephanie launched her own wedding floral business in 2015. Since then she has split her time between nurturing her business and her two young daughters. She views floral design as an art form and considers natural ingredients the most fascinating, rewarding and perfectly imperfect media to work with. Stephanie lives in the West Seattle area with her husband, two daughters and their two dogs. Her idea of a perfect day is exploring the outdoors in the sunshine with her little family, then sitting down to good food and a glass of wine.

I have always had a passion for the arts. I earned her Master’s Degree in Music in Eastern Europe. I chose to pursue her passionate creativity and turn my attention to floral design. My attention to details and connection on a personal level are what my clients rave about.

My love for flowers runs deep and true. I grew up ‘helping’ in my mom’s, grandfather’s and great-grandfather’s gardens, learning how to grow flowers, and more importantly, how to pick and arrange them. This is where the name Gather comes from – I’ve always been good at what my family broadly terms “hunting and gathering.” I was the kid who couldn’t ever pull myself out of the blackberry patch where I wanted to pick just one more berry, or away from the beach where I spent hours collecting the tiniest, wave-polished pebbles which I called jewels.
