With a history dating back to 1817, Chelsea Square was built to house the General Theological Seminary and has been the backdrop to some of New York’s most unique and memorable events. The Willows sits high on a hill overlooking the breathtaking grounds of Willows Park Preserve in the heart of the Main Line in Villanova, PA. The venue offers an irresistible combination of quiet elegance and unsurpassed beauty. This historic mansion, a beautiful example of Spanish Revival style architecture, was built in 1910. The venue's capacity is 150 with outdoor dining in a white tent and exclusive use of the mansion and surrounding patios, courtyards, stone walls and landscaped grounds.

The building is steeped in history and reflected in the original wood moldings, hand carved mahogany staircase, and mercer tiled fireplaces. As you make your way west towards the Bank st. entrance there is a subtle transition with a bespoke feel that is modern and bright. The House of the Redeemer is a cultural and historical treasure to the neighborhood on the Upper East Side of New York City, offering a unique setting for reflection, study, fellowship, and prayer. It is a place apart, providing worship and hospitality for individuals seeking spiritual renewal. The House is a perfect location for weddings with a guest list of 100 or less. Our chapel on the second floor can hold up to 30 people with ease for small intimate wedding ceremonies. For larger weddings, the Library provides the perfect backdrop for a ceremony and can seat up to 100. An outside courtyard is an option for cocktails during warmer months, while The Refectory will accommodate 80 for a seated formal dinner.
