Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (80 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Barton, VT

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
I knew I had some craft skills and did not want to hire a florist, so found Flower Moxie online to do the flowers myself for my daughter's wedding. Maria was very helpful and responsive. I scheduled a phone call to answer my questions and then placed an order for loose flowers and greenery, mixed boxes, and premade wearables and bouquets. I felt the pricing was reasonable. I ordered the vases etc. online along with extra ribbon and pins. Please know you have to refrigerate the wearables, I recommend a wine fridge for the slightly warmer temperature. The flowers arrived as described, and although the corsages seemed small, they actually wore just fine. I was able to add some color to the bridal bouquet with the loose flowers. I found the process to be low-cost, low-stress, and again Maria was so very helpful that I couldn't have been happier with the outcome. My daughter loved what I was able to do.

The Faux Bouquets
Rating: 5.0 (42 reviews)
  • Starts at $175
  • Serves Barton, VT

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
The Faux Bouquets were absolutely fantastic for our wedding! From the very beginning, they were awesome to work with - extremely responsive and so helpful in guiding us through all the floral options. Their communication style was great, and they really listened to our vision and preferences. The end product was stunning - the bouquets, centerpieces, and other arrangements were so pretty and went beautifully with our color scheme. We were thrilled with how everything turned out, and would highly recommend The Faux Bouquets to any couple planning their wedding.

Working with Jen for our October 2025 wedding was AMAZING!! From the moment we sent in an online inquiry, Jen was attentive, responsive, thoughtful, and incredibly detail oriented. She got us set up with a project planning doc immediately, and she was SO patient with us even when we were annoyingly indecisive about our vision lol. She met with us via Zoom to answer all of our questions when we were struggling to finish the document (and she is just as thorough and helpful via Zoom as she is via email). Once we placed our final order, Jen was communicative and thorough about the process of what happened next in terms of pickup, payment, etc. When we picked up our flowers, we were ASTOUNDED by how beautiful they were. I mean, we knew they would be beautiful, but truly, WOW. Aside from bouquets & boutonnieres, we also got garlands to use as centerpieces for our guests’ farmhouse tables, as well as small wooden circle magnets with a flower on top (we wood burned the j c into them ourselves) to use as favors. And they all looked incredible. An employee at our venue said that our decor was “the best she’s ever seen this place look,” and a large part of our decor was these flowers. I cannot recommend Jen and Wood and Word Blooms ENOUGH!!! PS bouquet photo is from today (1/5/26)!! The longevity is insane!

Arturo has been with us since he was 18, and we have seen him grow in so many ways. He is extremely friendly and all of the guests always love him. He is dedicated and highly focused on the details, and that commitment shines through in both his team and his floral designs. For Agatha & Bartek’s wedding, the entire estate was filled with breathtaking flowers all weekend long. From the rehearsal dinner to the wedding day and after day brunch. The tent was alive with vibrancy, and the way he incorporates flowers, even weaving them seamlessly with trees, is truly stunning. June Farm
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Barton, VT

We specialize in organically styled weddings and events of all sizes, using only flowers that we grow or forage from our Charlotte 5+ acre farm. Our approach embraces the beauty of big flowering branches, woody shrubs, grasses, and wildflowers, all artfully combined with our seasonal farm-grown favorites like Lisianthus, Dahlias, Ranunculus, Cosmos, and Sweet Peas. We prioritize showcasing what each season offers, helping clients to connect their unique celebrations to the essence of that time of year. There is a distinct beauty in flowers that bloom in their natural season, and we are committed to highlighting that in our designs.

We booked June Farm for our October 2025 wedding and are still blown away by how gorgeous our florals were! Even though our wedding was in the fall, our color palette was very spring, and I was worried there wouldn't be enough of those shades during that time of year. Brooke, the owner, assured there definitely would be, and she was right - our day was full of light pinks and bright oranges with a pop of blue! I'll be honest, I didn't care too much about the specifics of florals on our wedding day - just that we had some and they didn't look horrible. If this is you, definitely book with Brooke as she can turn the littlest of instruction into your exact vision you didn't even know you had. The one request I had was a hanging garland behind our head table, and I sent Brooke one inspo pic and she nailed it. What I loved most about our arrangements were how natural everything looked! I absolutely hate when florals look like a big pom-pom and was thrilled to see that ours looked whimsical yet professional. We had so many guests compliment them throughout the night! Definitely don't hesitate to book with June Farm if you're thinking about it!!

Wintertide Floral
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves Barton, VT

My foundation in floral design began on a small flower farm in Vermont over 10 years ago, where I immersed myself in the full lifecycle of the work—planting, harvesting, and arranging blooms directly from the field. That experience shaped my style: deeply seasonal, textural, and guided by an intuitive understanding of form and color. My aesthetic is loose and intentional, layered with luxurious texture and touched by a sense of intentional wildness. A steward of sustainable design, I avoid floral foam and plastics, and aim to use local materials wherever I can to have the lightest footprint on our planet possible.

Jenny’s florals for my wedding were an absolute dream, she completely nailed my vision within my budget and I couldn’t have gone with a better florist. Her work is stunning and I received non-stop compliments on her beautiful and unique arrangements. She totally understood my color scheme and vibe, and everything, especially the bridal bouquet, was perfection!! And to top it all off, Jenny is a wonderful and kind person to work with. 110% recommend!

Florals were one of the most important elements of our celebration, so I was deeply intentional about finding the right partner to bring our vision to life. She went above and beyond in every sense, adding thoughtful surprises and deeply personal touches that showcased not only her talent and creativity but also her genuine care for her clients. From our very first conversation, I knew Erica got it. We came to her with a unique idea: seasonal, natural florals paired with cheeky, high-low New England coastal vibes. She met us there, and then some. She took the time to source the perfect details, from a duck vase (a nod to my spouse, nicknamed “Ducky”) to vintage Cape Cod vessels, and even mailed us old postcards of our wedding location, which, of course, we used for our table numbers. She surprised us by placing our high-top bouquets in Narragansett beer cans (my spouse’s go-to drink) and collaborated with us on a lobster trap altar — sourcing real traps and buoys from a retired fisherman she found on Facebook Marketplace. The level of effort and heart she poured into it all was unreal. And the arrangements themselves? Beyond anything I had imagined. Organic, expressive, and brimming with character. Erica let the florals speak for themselves while adding whimsical, meaningful touches that made everything feel alive and full of joy. Our vision wasn’t traditional, and it certainly wasn’t for everyone, but Erica listened, understood, and created a completely bespoke experience that felt true to us. I have no doubt she brings that same dedication and artistry to every couple lucky enough to work with her.
