The Summit Lodge is an exclusive resort. We will only host one wedding per weekend. The entire property is yours for up to 4 days and 3 nights! We can host 50 to 200 people for your ceremony and reception, and can house up to 136 in our cozy lodge. We have 10 acres of beautifully manicured grounds with tons of charm and character inside and out. Outside there are 2 beautiful saltwater pools, fire pit, life-size chess/checkers, horseshoes, corn-hole, shuffleboard, and an oversized chef’s grill that’s perfect for welcome parties and poolside barbecues. Inside we have O’Dwyer’s Poolside Bar, perfect for cocktail hour, welcome parties, and outside dining, and O’Dwyer’s Pub. Which is the ideal spot for rehearsal dinners and after parties. We boast a 15-person saltwater hot tub, billiards, darts, and a photo booth. Our live Gazebo cam can stream your ceremony in real time with sound for those who are unable to be with you on your special day.

Our gorgeous country estate set in the heart of Vermont is the backdrop for your curated celebration. Curated just for you, our experienced team handles every detail of your weekend so that you can enjoy your wedding from the first hello to the last kiss goodbye. Local foods are crafted into a meal you will be proud to share with your family and friends.

We offer a rustic but elegant barn venue located along the Connecticut river. We offer an outside ceremony site on the waters edge that is peaceful and serene. We supply all tables, chairs and linens. We also provide cleanup after your event.

Imagine your guests arriving down our exclusive private tree and split rail lined driveway, being met and greeted by our (complimentary ) parking staff. Golf cart service available to the elderly and infirm. Celebrate your wedding with nothing but meadows and mountains in the background and then party as late as you like in our wedding barn. Enjoy a bonfire and finally stroll off to the perfect ending to a perfect day in the complimentary poolside honeymoon cottage. As a DIY, save money or the sky's the limit as you design your dream wedding and DIY or bring your favorites to do it for you. A wedding at Hildene is about more than being at one of Vermont’s most beautiful places. You and your guests deserve an authentic Vermont experience and you will begin that experience by walking through The Lincoln Family Home to your wedding ceremony in our historic formal garden. From high on a promontory, you look out to the Taconic Mountains to the west and the Green Mountains to the east, with stunning views of rolling fields and the famed Battenkill River Valley 300 feet below. Your guests will be treated to beautifully prepared fresh local food. Some ingredients will even have been grown at Hildene Farm. And, by having your wedding at Hildene you gain the added satisfaction of helping to support one of America’s great cultural heritage sites. The home and estate are now owned by the non-profit Friends of Hildene.
