Coral was an incredible wedding planning partner for our special day. From our very first interaction, Coral's communication style was casual and approachable, putting us at ease as we navigated the wedding planning process- something that was so new to us! She demonstrated an amazing attention to detail, showing incredible effort to ensure every aspect of our wedding day ran smoothly. When the wind was a factor at our venue, which was very new to her and us, Killer Tomato Farm, and Coral and her team responded with flexibility and creativity to adapt the timeline and decor. We absolutely loved our wedding at Gorges Beer Co., and can't say enough great things about the entire experience. From the breathtaking venue (which so many of our guests commented about) to the incredible team, everything was flawless. Travis, Kelli and the rest of the Gorges team were simply amazing—organized, prompt, and incredibly communicative throughout the entire process. They took so much stress off our shoulders by handling so many details that are typically overwhelming. With everything from chairs and napkins to cleanup and drinks included in the booking, it made planning so much easier and allowed us to truly enjoy our day. The personal touches meant so much to us—like having our names displayed above the bar and menu options that felt truly “us.” The large selection of beer and the fun yard games added a relaxed, joyful vibe that fit our wedding perfectly. And the after party? Absolutely fantastic! The staff brought such great energy and helped keep the celebration going strong. We highly recommend Gorges Beer Co. to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with a professional, passionate team that genuinely cares. Our day was perfect, and we’re so grateful to Travis, Kelli, and everyone at Gorges Beer Co. for making it so special.

Possibly the best decision we made during our wedding process (aside from getting married), was choosing this venue. We were able to rent and use 3 locations throughout the weekend (Pavilion, House 3, and Thunder Island), and each was accommodating and gorgeous in its own way. The ease of having everything from welcome night, rehearsal, ceremony, and reception in the same spot made our logistics 10 times easier. Lots of wedding venues are gorgeous, but what sets the Locks apart is their this place is that they are truly flexible and hospitable. They will actually listen and try to make anything work for you! We had 200 guests so we really pushed the capacity, and the team worked flawlessly to make sure we got what we needed. Jeanetta (the manager) offered so much helpful perspective, was easy to reach and communicate with, and went the extra mile, even helping us put up and take down lights, bringing her personal tools. It felt like showing off the PNW to our east coast and Midwest guests. They were blown away, and so were we. If you want a low-stress, high-flexibility, and completely stunning outdoor wedding, this is the spot. Hidden gem for sure.

We custom design each wedding and each one is unique to the couples, the venue and time of year. Our shop supports local growers and we source from farms though out the Columbia River Gorge and Pacific Northwest. best, Lucy

I was so happy I decided to stop into the shop one day and was lucky enough to talk to Lucy about her services. She doesn't have a minimum and was happy to do some flowers for us a la carte - we made most of the flowers from paper but I wanted fresh flowers for the bouquet, boutonnieres, floral crowns, etc. Everything was so easy and straightforward and she had helpful feedback for my ideas. She did a gorgeous job - we loved our fresh flowers!

I highly recommend Sound Originals for wedding photography based on the communication, organization, value, and most importantly, the final product. Gabriella was always very responsive and clear in the messages sent via the online portal when we had questions. I was a bit hesitant to book this vendor because I didn’t know anyone who’d used the company before, but I’m glad I did. We were lucky to get paired with Jared as our photographer and immediately felt comfortable with him on our virtual planning call. On the day of our wedding he was prompt and had plenty of ideas ready to go, but he was also very open to any ideas we had. He never made us feel rushed at all as you could tell he wanted to take his time to get the shots right. He was patient when necessary, efficient when necessary and always reminded us to let him know if any poses didn’t feel comfortable or natural. We didn’t have a second shooter but you wouldn’t be able to tell by looking at our photos as Jared managed to get great variety in the angles during the ceremony and reception. The photos are beautiful and we are looking forward to framing a few. We got the sneak peak within 2 weeks and the full photo gallery not too long after that. The only critique I have is that the florist we used was incorrectly tagged on the sneak peak instagram post, and wasn’t corrected even though I reached out via direct message and comment. The flowers were beautiful & the correct florist deserved the credit. Overall, I would definitely work with Sound Originals and Jared in particular again in the future.

Awarded Best of Zola
My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! I know they also offer several other services that we did not utilize, and I'm sure they are wonderful as well! Photos courtesy of Lang at Wandering Wolf Photography.

We've been honored to create wedding films for hundreds of incredible couples. It’s about your story leading up to that day and the stories that will come after. Our wedding videos bring your day to life – allowing the two of you to relive every laugh, every tear, and every moment that went by in a flash. Your loved ones will thank you for allowing your celebration to serve as a legacy of family history for generations to come.

They were incredibly prompt on the big day and kept everything moving smoothly without us ever feeling rushed. Their friendly, upbeat attitude made it easy to relax and enjoy every moment.
Because they knew the layout of Stambaugh so well, they anticipated shots and transitions perfectly.
That familiarity with the venue helped everything flow naturally throughout the day. They captured so many meaningful moments, both big and small, that we still cherish.
Our wedding was documented beautifully and authentically.
Even now, six years later, we find ourselves watching the footage on a regular basis. The video instantly brings us back to how that day felt. These guys truly helped us forever capture our wedding, and we can’t recommend them enough.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.8 (100 reviews)

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
Flower Moxie provided great options for access to specialty flowers to utilize at my wedding. With great communication following floral delivery, and provided further instructions to ensure preservation of the roses at delivery. I was stunned with how well the roses lasted from being delivered 2 days prior to the wedding and lasting for 2-4 days following the wedding. Blue Delphinium was the least impressive, and I was not pleased. Sad. Wilting and unable to hydrate. I was not impressed. I ordered: Orange Free Spirit Garden Roses (50 Stems, 3.60/stem) and Light Blue Delphinium (50 Stems, 3.00/stem) and spent 354.

Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!

Golden Bell offers a unique musical blend that packs a high-energy punch! The DJ/live fusion band, or DJ/live band hybrid, is always anchored on a DJ set but supported by live musicians. With all the energy and hype of a live band and the flexibility of a DJ, you won’t have to decide between hiring a band or a DJ for your next event or wedding.

Awarded Best of Zola
Okay, seriously, if you're planning an event and thinking about a band/dj hybrid, you have to look into Golden Bell Music. Our wedding on June 27, 2025, at Viansa Winery in Sonoma, CA, was everything we dreamed of and so much more, and honestly, a huge part of that credit goes directly to them. We spent 11 months planning every detail, and booking Golden Bell Music as one of our very first vendors was hands-down the best decision we made. The band/DJ hybrid concept? Pure genius! It absolutely delivers the best of both worlds, and they pulled it off flawlessly. But really, the biggest shout-out – and the core of this whole review – belongs to the phenomenal Marlon Aldana, our DJ and drummer. We first spotted him in action on Golden Bell's Instagram, and it was an instant "that's our guy!" moment. You can imagine our excitement when we found out he was available for our date! Working with Marlon from the very beginning was just an absolute pleasure. He wasn't just playing music; he was genuinely feeling the room, intuitively knowing when to let a song build or transition to keep the energy up. All of our "must-plays" were there, the do not-play was respected, and the dance floor never once emptied And talk about flexibility! We had a last-minute idea to add an extra instrument, and the Golden Bell team didn't blink. They jumped right in, helping us find the perfect addition without any issues. Plus, we had a separate violinist for our ceremony, and it was so impressive to see how effortlessly all the vendors collaborated. No drama, just smooth, professional teamwork, which really speaks volumes about Golden Bell's commitment to making your day seamless. Now, for the ultimate highlight: our after-party! We decided to do something a little different and host it in a wine cellar, and Marlon and his team elevated it beyond anything we could have imagined. When they brought in a fog machine, the entire atmosphere transformed. It wasn't just a party; it was an experience! That fog machine honestly MADE the party, turning the space into something truly epic. I genuinely can't picture it having the same incredible energy without it, so a massive thank you for that unexpected, perfect touch. And because we had a masquerade theme, I asked if the DJs would wear disco masks and they SAID YES and wore them the entire time, even after I told them they absolutely didn't have to for more than one song! It just created such an amazing vibe, and we've got the pictures to prove how much fun everyone had! There's just so much to appreciate about this incredible group. If you want your special day to be filled with fantastic music, seamless execution, and an unforgettable atmosphere, you absolutely have to choose Golden Bell Music. They truly are exceptional!

We’re so grateful we chose Press Record Co for our wedding video! My husband and I had an intimate wedding where we didn't feel the need to spend thousands on a videographer as well as our photographer. We rented a camcorder from Press Record Co & created us a dreamy, beautiful video from the footage. The final result was heartfelt, high-quality, and captured the spirit of our day so perfectly—it truly brought tears to our eyes. It had a bit of each of our family members which meant so much to us. The whole team was kind, responsive, and clearly passionate about what they do. Thank you for helping us preserve such a special memory. Highly recommend to any couple looking for a reliable and caring (and budget friendly compared to a videographer) video service!

From our first meeting, Frame by Two, LLC made it clear they were going to be partners in our wedding day, not just photographers. Sanskruti and Kacper were both incredibly professional, and doing an engagement shoot with them beforehand made us feel so comfortable and confident by the time our wedding rolled around. On the day itself, Sanskruti was my best friend and hypewoman, making sure I actually remembered and enjoyed every moment, while Kacper looked out for my husband and kept him feeling great throughout the day. Beyond their technical skills, they genuinely reminded us to slow down and be present with each other, which meant the world. Their communication was clear and punctual every step of the way, and the photos they delivered are absolutely timeless and beautiful (these are just the sneak peeks too, can’t wait to see the full gallery!). We couldn't be happier with how they captured our special day.

JR Music Collective got its start with the simple idea of live music and DJ service from one vendor caught on across the region and the company began adding more musician/DJs to its roster. Oregon Bride Magazine first recognized JR Music Collective with an award in 2013. The collective has gone on to win awards every year since. We have a talented group of musicians and DJs waiting to make your day wonderful.

Hands down, JR Music Collective provided the best experience we could have asked for from a DJ. Everyone we worked with was extremely professional, and every step along the planning process felt seamless and easy because of their attention to detail. We had John, the owner, as our DJ and really felt taken care of along the entire way; he even learned a song on the guitar to perform for us during our first dance! Thank you, JR team! We will definitely hire you again if there are any further DJ needs!
