LEMON & TULIPS
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
  • Starts at $65 per arrangement
  • Serves Anson, ME

Here is a very short story how I got into the floral industry. In 2015 I got in an accident where I cracked my skull and had to have brain surgery/tbi. I was not able to work for months, my vision was sensitive, my taste was gone, my balance was off whack, I had temporary aphasia and thinking would exhaust me physically. With all this, I had to go to neuro rehab and 'retrain my brain'. Color therapy; sight exercises. Smells; memory builder. Art; improves brain function. I then asked myself, 'what the hell career has all of this to help me?' Duh. Flowers. I got lucky because I fell in love with it

“Working with Lemon & Tulips was such a great experience from start to finish. Ali was incredibly responsive whenever we reached out with questions or concerns, which made the whole planning process feel smooth and stress-free. When our ceremony had to move inside due to rain, Ali jumped in to help us figure out the best solution and adjusted everything perfectly. The flowers she created were absolutely stunning, vibrant and eye catching in a way that had our guests talking about them all night. She really listened to what we wanted and brought our vision to life in a way we didn't even know was possible. We couldn't have asked for a better florist for our wedding day!”

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (108 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Anson, ME

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
“We chose Flower Moxie for our wedding flowers and couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Their DIY flower packages made it easy for us to create the exact look we wanted without the stress, and the blooms arrived in great condition with clear instructions on how to arrange them. The quality was outstanding – the colors were vibrant and almost everything stayed fresh throughout our wedding day. We saved a ton of money compared to hiring a traditional florist, but honestly, you wouldn't know it from looking at our photos. We'd absolutely recommend them to any couple looking for beautiful flowers without breaking the bank.”

The Flower Spot
Rating: 5.0 (34 reviews)
·Ratings include Zola and Google reviews
  • Starts at $1,050
  • Serves Anson, ME

The Flower Spot is a small floral studio in Richmond, Maine, owned and designed by Anne Clark. We work from the ground floor of a circa-1854 house on the Kennebec River — the same house that hosts intimate weddings out back. Anne designs every wedding herself. No account manager, no template package menu, no upsell script. You tell her what you love — a color, a photo, your grandmother's garden — and she builds outward from there. Bouquets, boutonnieres, ceremony arches, aisle florals, centerpieces, cake flowers, and installations. Whether it's one bouquet or every table in the room, the care is exactly the same.

“I Loved all of the floral arrangements. Just what I wanted. They did outstanding with communications, details, everything. I loved everything. Thank you for everything!! Highly recommend! Got many reviews/comments from the guests”

The Flower Dude
Rating: 5.0 (27 reviews)
·Ratings include Zola and Google reviews
  • Starts at $1,000
  • Serves Anson, ME

I'm Don Clark. I run The Flower Dude, a studio wedding florist in Portland, Maine. Studio means no retail shop, and that's the point. Instead of a cooler full of roses that flew up from Miami last week, I work from three gardens in Cape Elizabeth and Kennebunk — so from June through late September, your flowers are cut the morning you get married. I arrange everything myself, then deliver and set it up: bouquets, boutonnieres, arches, reception tables, all of it. Personal and personalized.

“From our first conversation, we knew The Flower Dude was the right choice for our wedding. Donald was responsive to our ideas and genuinely invested in understanding what we wanted—he didn't just listen, he collaborated with us every step of the way. Flowers were a top priority for us, and he created the floral arrangement of our dreams with stunning displays throughout the ceremony, reception tables, and every corner in between. His attention to detail and high-quality work exceeded all of our expectations. Donald captured our vision perfectly and delivered above and beyond what we envisioned for our special day. We can't thank him enough for making our flowers so beautiful.”

Blue Dahlia Wooden Florals, LLC
Rating: 5.0 (16 reviews)
  • Serves Anson, ME

My business started when I was planning my own wedding. I love flowers, but we couldn't justify spending hundreds or thousands on real flowers to throw them away in a week when we also found out we were expecting our first child at the same time. In came wood flowers! After much practice, I discovered I have an eye for colors and floral design and now 4 years and MANY weddings and THOUSANDS of home decor pieces later, this is not only my passion but it is also my full time business. No side hustle here! You will have my undivided attention. I'll make sure your floral dreams come to life in wood and the best part, they LAST FOREVER!

Awarded Best of Zola
“Katie was an absolute pleasure to work with. I decided I wanted wood flowers for my wedding, and when searching for a local artist, I gravitated toward Katie's designs. I found a local bridal show so I could see her work in person, and I made the decision to work with her as soon as I saw her table of flowers from across the room! It was a one-stop-shop! She did it all: my bridal bouquet, Bridesmaid & Jr. Bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages and flowers for our wedding cake. The planning process went well. She was able to take a swatch of my bridesmaid's dresses, and matched the color perfectly. She took some suggestions on the types of flowers I wanted to include in my wedding package and then used her creative genius to create stunning bouquets. They came out EXACTLY as I had envisioned! Our guests who knew I wanted wood flowers were shocked that they were so soft and realistic looking. The airbrushed roses on our cake looked so real! The little details like the pearl bracelets on the corsages, and the satin wrapped stems on the bridesmaid bouquets made everything look elegant and polished. I highly recommend Blue Dahlia Designs if you are thinking about using wood flowers in your wedding. I planned my wedding during the pandemic, and we had many challenges. Katie was so wonderful to work with and I am so happy with my flowers. I am STILL enjoying them, and we just celebrated our first anniversary.”

Hi, I’m Sally! I am the florist/farmer/owner of Silver Street Flower Farm, a design studio and one-acre cut flower farm. ’m a NH native, a Colby College Alumna, and a twin mom. I feel grateful I get to do something every day that builds my relationship with the natural world. Our designs are seasonal and feature our own flowers or blooms from other local growers. The flowers for your special day are sustainably grown, inspired by nature, and curated just for you.

“We couldn't be happier with our experience working with Sally from Silver Street Flower Farm as our wedding florist! From the very beginning, we were captivated by her amazing style and the thoughtful selection of flowers she curated. The fact that she uses locally grown flowers made it even more special, perfectly aligning with the vision we had for our wedding day. Sally truly understood the style I was envisioning and brought it to life with such passion and enthusiasm. It felt less like working with a vendor and more like collaborating with a friend who was just as excited about the project as we were. Even though I know she had many weddings before ours in September, Sally made us feel like ours was the only one. Her energy and commitment to making our ideas a reality were unparalleled. This incredible energy carried through every step of the process—from our initial consultation to the check-ins and communication leading up to the big day. On the wedding day itself, Sally went above and beyond. She seamlessly handled additional requests for setup, worked closely with our venue to ensure everything ran smoothly, and delivered the most stunning and unique bouquets we could have imagined. I wholeheartedly recommend Sally to any future bride and groom. Her talent is unmatched, her warmth and kindness make her a joy to work with, and her attention to detail is a dream for any couple navigating the sometimes stressful world of wedding planning. Sally is an amazing creative, and we are so grateful for the role she played in making our wedding day unforgettable.”

The Ivy League Wedding Studio Florals
Rating: 5.0 (6 reviews)
  • Starts at $1,800
  • Serves Anson, ME
  • Offer

I bring both professional and academic training to every arrangement. I studied fine arts at the University of Pennsylvania, an Ivy League university, and I apply that same eye for color, composition, and detail to every bouquet, centerpiece, and installation. Your florals aren't just decorations to me. They're a work of art, built specifically for your day. Wedding florals shouldn't force you to choose between beautiful and affordable. I've watched too many couples fall in love with a Pinterest board, then feel deflated by the quote that comes with it. That's not how I work.

“Working with The Ivy League Wedding Studio Florals was truly one of the easiest parts of our wedding planning experience. From our very first conversation, June was incredibly responsive, organized, and thoughtful about every detail. She took the time to understand the overall look we were going for, including the fact that peonies were really important to us, while also being mindful of our floral budget. We were honestly surprised by how well she was able to incorporate the flowers we loved while still keeping everything within the budget we had discussed. We also really wanted a beautiful floral arch for our ceremony, with lots of flowers and greenery, and June completely understood the vision. When we saw it on our wedding day, we were blown away. The arch was so full, lush, and beautifully designed, and the quality of the flowers and greenery was incredible. It looked so much more elevated and substantial than we ever expected based on what we were spending. It really became one of our favorite details from the entire wedding. When we saw all of the flowers on our wedding day, they were even more beautiful than we had imagined. Every arrangement felt intentional and fit so perfectly with the rest of our wedding. The florals added so much to the atmosphere and made the space feel incredibly special. One of the things we appreciated most was how completely everything was handled for us on the wedding day. The setup, breakdown, and cleanup were all taken care of, so we never had to worry about what was happening behind the scenes. It was such a relief to be able to focus on getting married and enjoying the day with our family and friends. We also really appreciated the transparency throughout the process. We knew our final price upfront, and there were no unexpected fees or surprises at the end. June was honest about what would work within our budget and helped us make thoughtful choices without ever making us feel like we had to sacrifice the overall look we wanted. The Ivy League Wedding Studio Florals was such a pleasure to work with, and we are so grateful they were part of our wedding day. From helping us get the peonies we really wanted to creating the full floral and greenery arch we had envisioned, everything felt so personal and thoughtfully done. The flowers were gorgeous, the entire process was seamless, and we felt genuinely taken care of from beginning to end.”

WOOD FLOWERS that last a lifetime. At Pine & Petal Weddings, we believe flowers should endure as long as the memories they celebrate. From walking down the aisle to gifting a friend or gathering around the table, our wooden flowers are keepsakes that bring joy, comfort, and timeless beauty to life’s most meaningful moments.

“I can’t say enough good things about Pine and Petal Wood Flowers! I had the absolute pleasure of working with Vanessa Ward throughout the entire process, and she was incredible. I was completely lost when it came to choosing colors and styles, but Vanessa helped me pick shades that perfectly matched my wedding color scheme and flowers that suited my taste beautifully. She was so communicative, kind, and accommodating—especially when I needed my flowers made and shipped on a tight timeline. Everything arrived on time and looked stunning! I would highly recommend Pine and Petal to anyone looking for elegant, timeless, and long-lasting floral arrangements. We plan to have our bouquet proudly on display as a beautiful reminder of our wedding day, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out!”

Milkweed Floral Co.

Hi! I’m Iris, the mind, body, and soul behind Milkweed! As a lot of dad’s like to joke, my name must be a birthright into floristry. In all honesty, it really has been a constant thread throughout my life. From picking flowers in my mom’s garden, to working in a flower shop in Boston right after college, then tackling florals for my own wedding in 2021, and eventually freelancing for event florists around Maine - I fell head over heels for wedding florals!

Awarded Best of Zola
“Iris at Milkweed Design Co exceeded every expectation I had for my wedding in 2023! I love flowers and wanted a lot all over the venue, but I didn't specify know which ones I wanted. Iris created the perfect design that I was imagining but couldn't put into words myself. She suggested and constructed an elaborate show stopping floral installation on a tree welcoming guests to the venue and offering an unique backdrop for photos! The colors, textures, and attention to detail were perfection! Each arrangement completely transformed the space into something magical. It was clear how much care, creativity, and passion went into every aspect of Iris' work. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the flowers at the time, and to this day, it's the one thing everyone still brings up! If you’re looking for someone incredibly talented, hard-working, and thoughtful—someone who truly cares about her craft and the clients who trust her with one of the most important days of their lives—look no further!”
