Welcome!! We are Madison + McKenzie, best friends turned business partners and the heart behind Lavenderie Photos! Our story began back in 2017. What started as snapping photos of friends and family quickly grew into a full blown passion. Fast forward a year, and the two decided to turn their love for photography into something even bigger. Lavenderie Photos was born, and we’ve never looked back! Since then, we’ve had the absolute joy of photographing over 100 amazing individuals and couples. Every session is a celebration, and every love story feels like the first all over again.

Hey!! Congratulations and I'm so excited you're here! My name's Lissa (pronounced "Lyss-uh") and photographs are my jam! Also my jam? Bright colors, the lamest jokes, floral everything, weird history, and awesome ghost stories. I'm a total mother hen / perpetual big sister and I'm mom to Max, Henry, and Penelope. I love creating. I garden. I sew. I crochet. I design ridiculously cute tee shirts. But most of all? I freaking love creating photographs. A professional photographer since 2011 (eek!), my photographs are bright, happy, and totally meant to hit you in the feels. But most of all? They're a total party!

I started my journey as a portrait & fashion photographer, primarily in London, England working with modeling agencies before moving to America with my husband 6 years ago. I would describe my style as modern, moody, and timeless. More so after raising my two boys, I began changing my photography direction toward couples & their unique love stories. I strive to capture each raw moment that truly captures this memorable day for you both.
