For over 90 years, The Warehouse has been at the center of Eclectic life. Built in 1928 for Lee Hornsby, the property has been in the family since the 1880s. It held commercial activity for cotton merchandising, lumber and hardware for 3 generations. In 1996, Aubrey Hornsby repurposed it as a social/cultural center. Its massive timbers, red brick walls, old-south charm, natural architectural comfort and grassy lawns inspire down-home livability. It has hosted The Alabama Cotton Festival, church/school events, concerts, theater, receptions and parties. Corporations have used it for photo shoots and as a sound stage. We have held over 600 events including 350 weddings. Upholding the historical structure, improvements have been made to ensure comfort and ease.

Various industrial and automotive operations occupied the space for the next 90 years. In 2014, the current owners began the process of historically renovating the building to its original beauty with modern elegance and numerous edgy, contemporary details. From the tall glass windows that were meticulously restored, to the original brick walls and exposed trusses, Haven is the premier event space for your private event.
