Woodland Floral Design Co.

5.0

Biglerville, PA

Proud Cat & Dog Mom // Your New Wedding Vendor BFF It’s never been just about pretty flowers to me. I started out in social work because I wanted to serve and connect with others. I first entered the floral design world as an intern in 2016 and noticed a lack of originality in designs and a need for more connection between the florist and the couple. When I started WFD in 2019, I decided to prioritize both artistic designs and building long-term relationships with each couple. Planning my own wedding in 2021 gave me an even deeper appreciation for the importance of receiving creative expertise and genuine support from wedding vendors.

The minute I saw Misha's work I knew I had to have her as part of my wedding day. She was the first vendor I booked (even before a venue). From the first consult call all the way through to the big day, Misha was the best to work with and made the process so easy and stress free. I gave her a general idea of my vision, colors and the vibe of the day, but ultimately gave her creative freedom. Best. Decision. Ever. She even stayed through our ceremony and repurposed the arrangements in the reception space. Everything was absolutely stunning and it's all I and anyone could talk about. If I could give one piece of advice to couples planning their wedding it would be to immediately book Misha. You will not regret it and can thank me later.

    Helianthus and Lace

    5.0

    Linglestown, PA
    • Starts at $3,000

Helianthus and Lace is a wedding and event floral design business serving the deeply in love and aiming to glorify Jesus through it all. Helianthus is the Latin term for sunflower and comes from the root Helio and Greek Helios, meaning Sun. As sunflowers are growing and beginning to bloom, they turn their heads towards the sun - I find this to be a great analogy for faith in Jesus. As we are growing and blooming in any stage of life, we should be continually turning our heads to the Son. Flowers have been a part of my life since 2014, and I have been flowering weddings since 2018. I'm so glad you are here!

Amanda was so professional from start to finish. She was excellent with communication and was quick to adapt when we changed our order a few times. We even changed the order a few weeks before the wedding and Amanda handled that too. My bouquet was an absolute dream, and was exactly what I was looking for, I literally had tears of joy upon seeing them. My bridesmaids raved about their bouquets. Everything was just absolutely perfect. I'd recommend Amanda to anyone looking for a florist.

    Pam's Petals

    5.0

    Lititz, PA

I grew up running around after my mom in her gardens and spent most of high school in the art department. I went off to design school and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. Soon after, I started my first “real” design job and have been working in the industry in either commercial or residential design ever since, giving me thirty-five years of design experience. A second related career in Floral Design was added to my skill set when I was employed as a part-time floral designer and trained at Longwood Gardens. I decorated twenty-one Christmas trees that year and did a lot of beautiful custom designs.

I loved working with Pam! She has such a vision for working with flowers and it brought my wedding to life! She's easy to communicate with and offers fair prices. As a photographer, I had worked with her before, so I knew when I became a bride she was at the top of my list to work with. I loved that I got to work with her personally during our wedding, which for me set her aside from other florists who would send a team out in their place. She has lots of knowledge and experience with flowers and was able to really build my finite ideas into something breathtaking!

      Terra Florals

      5.0

      Spring Grove, PA
      • Starts at $2,000

Loni and the team at Terra Florals provide brides with the best flowers in the mid-Atlantic. When folks who know Loni think of flowers... they think of her. She and her husband are the founders of Terra Florals, the region's premier cut flower farm. Folks come from across the country to visit the farm's huge cut flowers fields and stay at the on-farm bed and breakfast. With legendary design skills and a massive following, Loni leads design classes, coaches local growers and provides flowers for many of the area's florists and designers. Even if her calendar is too full to build your dream wedding florals... be sure to demand her flowers.

I have worked with Terra Farms for the last 4 years, and I can honestly say that my experiences with them over that time have been overwhelmingly positive. Terra Farms has proven to be a local source of inspiration to the communities that surround them. They show people the beauty and value that come with choosing homegrown and locally sourced florals, while creating stunning arrangements and installations with the colorful crops they produce. These are people that practice sustainable agriculture, believe in supporting other small businesses, and jump at the chance to get their community involved. If you have the opportunity to work with Loni and Andy, take it. You will be thrilled you did.

      Fiddlestix Florals and Wedding Coord

      5.0

      Gettysburg, PA
      • Starts at $1,500

My earliest memories are always centered around picking flowers in my mothers gardens. I would grab one of the glass bottles she collected and play around with any flowers I could find. Flower design is my passion. My shop is located in our 150 year old barn that in itself is full of character. I try to be a vendor who is easy and fun to work with. I am human and understand money does not grow on trees so I try my hardest to work within the client's budget. Each bouquet I create tells a story, each unique beautiful.

Tiara is one of the kindest people I’ve had the opportunity to get to know during the wedding planing process over the last two years. She is so talented, patient and calm. Her daughter, Maddie assisted her throughout our wedding day/night and was equally as helpful, polite and professional as her mother. We said multiple times that having Tiara and Maddie there was the best decision and money spent on our big day. I couldn’t have done it without them. Tiara was also a huge blessing at our rehearsal. Our family and parties felt comfortable and in the best hands from start to finish, and we feel like we made two new friends. Maddie even played with my niece who was younger than the rest of our guests. I also can’t emphasize enough how gorgeous our flowers and decorations came out! Do yourself a favor and book! You won’t be disappointed. Also, check out Tiara’s shop. She sells the cutest things!

      Locaflora Design

      5.0

      Gettysburg, PA
      • Starts at $3,000

Welcome to your neighborhood flower shop! Locaflora is committed to reviving the love of local, seasonal flowers in Gettysburg PA. Locaflora is owned and operated by Rebecca Muller, with help of a (tiny) stellar team!

      Awarded Best of Zola
This is long overdue, but Loca Flora did a wonderful job for our a la carte wedding order. We chose Loca Flora because their values align with ours- it's hard to do florals sustainably! Becca was so friendly and professional as we communicated, taking the tweaks I made to the order in stride. Due to the rain in the forecast, we decided to get an arch for an indoor ceremony at the last minute, and I asked Becca a few days before the wedding if she could add a spray for the arch. They had another involved event scheduled for that weekend, but her team made it happen! The colors weren't precisely what I expected, but I absolutely loved my bouquets and spray, and so did everyone else. The textures were perfect- exactly what I wanted! They matched our decor very well and they really brightened the very gloomy day we had. I'd recommend Loca Flora to anyone- everything was stress-free and beautiful. It was easily one of the best vendors we worked with for our wedding!

      Pretty Posies By Nichole

      4.0

      Littlestown, PA
      • Starts at $2,500

Meet Nichole Klunk, the owner and lead floral designer at Pretty Posies by Nichole. My husband Ashley and I have been married for 16 years. Our two wild and full of energy sons keep us busy! Family is everything to us! I have always been a flower lover... Even as a child I would harvest all my grandmothers blooming flowers. Then make bouquets with them for my family. So it was no surprise in 2009 when I volunteered to arrange my cousins wedding flowers and fell in love! After that I was hooked and knew I wanted to pursue this as my career. So I complete a floral design course with Ashworth College in 2009 with honors.

      Awarded Best of Zola
Nichole is always so enjoyable to work with. Quick to reply and very reasonable! From bouquets to centerpieces, they are always beautiful! She will not disappoint!

      Splints & Daisies

      5.0

      Mountville, PA
      • Starts at $4,000

Tara has been a long time flower lover and plant geek. Growing up she was a rambunctious toddler and decided to get a head start in the horticulture industry by eating her mothers house plants. This mostly resulted in the poison control center being called repeatedly, but also instilled in her the love of all things "green and growing". She has had her hands in the dirt and been playing with flowers her whole life. With an art background in her family, florals became her artistic expression.

i knew i wanted splints & daisies to be the florist for my wedding before i was even engaged. they are so incredible that i didn't need to give them much direction for what i wanted. i had high hopes for my wedding flowers (my husband would tell you i was more excited for our florals than the actual wedding itself) but splints & daisies exceeded my expectations. if you'd like to cry about your flowers on your wedding day, i cannot recommend splints & daisies enough.

Sarcasm & Sunshine Designs Flower Preservation

      5.0

      Harrisburg, PA
      • Starts at $250

Sarcasm & Sunshine Designs is comprised of two friends, turned business partners. We worked together for several years planning events and weddings, so we have a shared love of sparkle, flowers, coffee, and making beautiful memories! We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate our growth as friends, mothers and confidants, than to combine our creativity and passions to create one of a kind items to brighten the days and lives of others. Our business, our products, and our partnership is all about balance, Contessa is the Sarcasm, Danielle is the Sunshine. Some days, we switch roles, but we think life is better with both!

Having my wedding flowers preserved was extremely important to me. To be able to keep something perfectly preserved that was so beautiful on my special day is unreal. Danielle is the kindest and easiest person to work with. She gets back to you within seconds and listens to any and every crazy request I had. Along with a tray, wine stopper, ornament, and book mark, Danielle was able to take part of my Mother’s wedding dress (that was wrapped around my bouquet) and preserve it in a jewelry box with my flowers. Let me tell you, the reaction my mom had on her face when I gave her that jewelry box was indescribable. If you are ever second guessing preserving your wedding flowers, this is your sign to do it. You won’t regret it! Sarcasm and Sunshine’s work is impeccable and I hope that others are able to have their flowers preserved with such care and precision as I was able to have mine.

      Ever After Floral Design

      5.0

      Myerstown, PA
      • Starts at $2,750

Local artist/entrepreneur Rachel Stevenson has made wedding and event floral design her life's passion. She has been a floral designer since 2004, first at a floral shop in Lancaster County and then branching out on her own business venture in 2008 doing exclusive wedding designs from her floral studio in Myerstown. She has received training not only from her former floral position but also advanced training specifically in wedding design from instructors at the Longwood Gardens Design School.

I highly recommend Rachel as a florist!! She was so nice and easy to work with and helped a lot with choosing the floral arrangements and flowers. I had a general idea of what I was looking for and what I liked and she brought that vision to life. The arrangements were stunning and soo many people complimented them at the ceremony and reception. She incorporated candles as well and everything was stunning!

      Richwine's Nature's Gifts - Carol Richwine

      5.0

      Dillsburg, PA
      • Starts at $3,500

Richwine’s Nature’s Gifts is floral studio in S. Central PA, specializing in wedding and event custom florals. Carol, a former floral design teacher & growing farmer-florist, uses upscale blooms sourced from sustainable farms & her cutting gardens whenever possible. Beauty, craftsmanship, and joy are crafted in every design! Beautiful Blooms. Every One.

We absolutely loved working with Carol! She took our color palette and ran with it. Our gazebo arrangement stayed fresh and beautiful despite. 90 degree day. She was attentive through the whole planning process and day of wedding. The night before the wedding, she offered to make an additional piece for our memory table and fill the bridesmaid bouquets more! You can tell that Carol loves what she does and we couldn’t have been more happy with our fall arrangements! We also love that she grows her own florals on site and only orders what she can’t grow. Definitely go local and book Carol for your wedding. You won’t be disappointed!
