About Matthew Kennedy Media

Matthew Kennedy

Wedding Videographer

Hi, I’m Matthew. I’m a freelance videographer based in Cincinnati, OH. When you hire ME, that means you get ME. I work with you from pre-planning, filming your day, to editing. This ensures that your story is told properly, and nothing is lost in translation. Every couple is different. That means that every film is different. I strive to provide a film that tells the story of who you are that impacts you the first time you watch it, and 10 years from now.

Videos are just pictures changing really fast, but what really sets them apart is sound. That’s why audio from letter readings, vows, toasts, and more, are all incorporated to help you relive your day. With multiple package choices, as well as customization available, you can ensure your day is captured without breaking the bank. Whether you’re in the very beginning stages of planning or you’re at the point of getting everything ironed out, I’d love to chat with you about your wedding day!

Once we’ve confirmed your package I will email you a contract and invoice. After your deposit is paid and contract is signed your date will be locked off in my calendar.
I require a 50% deposit to book your day. Without it, if another couple asks for your wedding date and pays their deposit before you, I’m obligated to book the couple that paid their deposit first.
Yes. If the packages that I offer do not match exactly what you are looking for, I do provide the option of having some slight variation done to them. I must note, that it will not be as cost effective for you in the end compared to if you just went with a set package option. Let me know and we can chat about it.
Yes. Once your deposit is paid, you can make weekly, monthly, or whatever payments you would like. I just require that your remaining amount due be paid on your wedding day. Other payment options may be available.
My favorite way to describe this is “I can’t be in two places at once.” When it comes to getting multiple angles of your first look, ensuring multiple cameras are in the right spot for your ceremony, or even just getting gear moved from one place to another effectively, a 2nd videographer helps in many ways. Not just for me, but for you and your film as well.
Ceremony and Reception videos are exactly what they sound like. It is getting unedited, simple cut, footage. This means you will get your full ceremony with audio, as well as important events from the reception like dances, toasts, etc. Think of it like your uncle filming everything, but on a way more expensive camera.
I deliver all of my films digitally. This primarily means providing a download link to the couple. They can then put them on a flash drive, multiple computers, or wherever they would like. If you are looking for DVDs, or other physical copies, let me know and we can explore options together.
My estimated delivery time is 8-12 weeks after the wedding date for the highlight film. I spend a lot of time on the story, going back through the toasts, ceremony, and other key events throughout the day to ensure that your film is as good as it possibly can be. This means more time in the editing room.
