About LifeWorks

LifeWorks

Videographer

CINEMATIC, DOCUMENTARY, & RAW VIDEO. My name is Craig Scott. I have dedicated the past 15 years to videography. My style is to allow the day to unfold as you've already planned it without major changes or micromanagement. Your photographer can work independently without my involvement, as I capture naturally what comes from the day, as candidly as possible.

*Your coverage will not be outsourced to another company. When you choose LifeWorks for your wedding, you'll see me on your wedding day. This is important because the quality of work as it's represented here and the LifeWorks website is what you can expect.

    Craig/Lifeworks is the best!

Craig did an amazing job on our wedding day. He captured all of the special moments and created memories for us that we will look back on forever. The drone shots, raw footage, guest messages and editing was everything I was looking for and more.

    Craig is amazing

Craig did so good and capturing every moment! I can’t wait to listen to the guest messages that he captured. He got all of the best spots and angles and several good drone shots. Creative, hard working, professional, above and beyond.

    A perfect choice of videographer

Craig was an absolute pleasure to work with and captured our wedding day so beautifully and we are so happy with how our films turned out. From the moment he arrived, Craig was friendly, professional, and made sure he was always in the perfect spot to film all the important moments from when we got ready to our exit at the end of the night. He really took the time to get all the important details and special moments captured and we were so impressed by the final product. He was also very flexible with time and travel and worked seamlessly with our venue and photographers. Would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a videographer!

    A great experience!

We knew Craig was there filming the whole time, but honestly he was never in the way or made anything feel awkward at all. He even stuck around all the way through our sparkler send-off! A bunch of our guests told us afterward how much fun they had recording those little video messages for us. The final videos are absolutely beautiful! After watching, you’ll realize there’s so much stuff you completely missed on the day. We’re so glad we went with LifeWorks! The video is something we’ll treasure forever!

Delivers value many times the price tag!

Having worked with Craig many times and known him for years, I can attest to his attention to detail and making sure video and audio are captured at the highest quality and edited for the biggest emotional impact. Any project benefits from his expertise and care. Hiring him is a no brainer!

It's one of the most important questions you can ask! When you choose LifeWorks, you'll see me on your wedding day; I won’t double-book your date, and there’s no fine print in the contract permitting someone like 'Skylar from My First Wedding Video' to appear in my absence. I take to heart the incredible trust couples place in me on one of the most important days of their life, and in return I have a feeling of commitment that exceeds anything written in a contract.
Black ones. Humor aside... Cameras are important but significantly more important is the skill and technique behind the cameras. A good camera won’t be responsible for a great production to any degree more than a good paintbrush could be responsible for a great painting. That said, we use the newest technology in 4K cameras, 35mm optics, gimbal stabilizers, tripods, microphones, etc.. Our Sony mirrorless cameras give us the capability to capture 4K video (with a myriad of professional photography lenses) and these are the same cameras favored overwhelmingly by many of today's world-renowned wedding videographers.
I enjoy wearing brightly colored psychedelic patterns, especially those that create optical illusions, but for weddings, my dress code is all-black professional attire. ☺
As long as they don’t smell bad we will get along great! But seriously, whatever is important to you is also important to me – this means I'm committed to doing my part to help ensure your photographer succeeds. It’s not uncommon to see us helping each other, moving furniture, discussing the schedule and shot ideas.
I ask you for your input on this topic on the wedding info form to give you a choice about how it can be edited or not edited. Absent your input I use ‘common sense without heavy censorship.’
Meal requirements are not in the contract. But I have to warn you, I work very hard and a few hours after the emergency bologna sandwich wears off, I start dreaming about food.
Yes. The wedding is filmed using multiple camera angles (and select audio sources), video from the different cameras must be pieced together and synchronized into a basic edit (Raw Video). You'll see and hear your wedding day as it was filmed in real-time including full ceremony, complete readings, complete homilies, vows, complete toasts, special dances, along with plenty of dance coverage from your reception.
With regard to the Raw Edits, the music that was chosen by you to be performed/played for your ceremony and reception will be in your video. So in essence, you will have already chosen the music. With regard to the films (cinematic version), music selection is at the discretion of the filmmaker for creative reasons and because most copyright holders of popular music don't make their music available to be licensed for use online.
One million $ (includes Ed Sheeran performing live for your first dance) or choose the economy rate of $200/h
25% / Credit cards excepted. No Fee.
There aren't many wedding professionals that will accept final payments via credit card because the transaction fees make it so cost prohibitive. Fortunately for you, I'm not one of them. You get the points!
I reserve the right to relocate LifeWorks to one of the Caribbean islands if I hit the jackpot, but I promise I will not shirk on my commitment to film your wedding!
