Walter Studios

A historic, art-forward venue of immersive rabbit-holes in downtown Phoenix with a full-service restaurant and multiple bars.

Walter Studios was originally built in 1948 as the home of legendary local Native American-focused label Canyon Records. The building hosted recording sessions for musicians from around the Southwest and expanded into film in 1953, shooting various commercials, movies, and television shows at the property. After years of development, the recently reimagined venue offers food, beverage, world-class production and multiple art-filled spaces to foster magical memories for life.

    My husband and I got married at the Walter Where?house last year and it was the best decision we made. The art, lighting, atmosphere, and overall vibes were unlike anything you could get elsewhere. We had people for months tell us it was the coolest wedding they had ever been to. The staff was great at helping our vision come to life, and everything went perfectly. Highly recommend!

    The Walter Studios transformed their space into a beautiful setting for the wedding. There were several extra touches that they went above and beyond to add.     Our wedding with Walter Studios was fantastic! Studio A is a naturally beautiful industrial space that we were able to adjust with our ideal seating arrangement, but what really stood out to me was the lobby space and back rooms. Each room had a unique design that kept guests entertained and allowed for a great break room for us and our bridal party.
