Videographer

I've been doing media work of all kinds since 2014. Short films, music videos, concert/event recordings. I shot my first wedding in 2018 and have found that I very much enjoy helping people capture those memories! Along with getting to meet new people and see new places with each gig.

With the variety of production types I've been a part of, and a well rounded media education, I'm used to being flexible with both shooting styles and timelines. Additionally; I prefer to charge a flat rate per job, rather than by the hour. Wedding schedules have so many opportunities to go off track. And the last thing you need to be worrying about is whether delays are going to affect the price of your video.

    We are so pleased with the exceptional work provided by Joey! Throughout the planning process, his communication was clear and thoughtful; he took the time to confirm our needs both over the phone and in writing, and he responded promptly to all inquiries. His patience and flexibility were greatly appreciated, particularly his policy of covering the entire day rather than charging by the hour, which significantly eased the planning process. As the day progressed and the lighting and scenery of our venue evolved, he remained open and attentive to finding new and creative shots. This adaptability allowed us to capture a range of stunning, Hollywood-esque footage throughout the day and into the evening. Additionally, he generously granted us access to the raw footage, giving us the opportunity to experience moments we couldn’t personally participate in throughout the day. When we inadvertently overlooked confirming his presence for certain important moments, he responded with professionalism and good humor, willingly capturing those events upon request. We highly recommend his services to anyone seeking a videographer who not only created a wedding video worthy of the big screen, but also made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the process. We can recommend Joey enough!

    We are so glad we chose Joseph Damaska Media as our wedding videographer. Joey was friendly and quick to respond throughout the planning process, putting us at ease. The quality of the final videos was great for the price, and we will forever be able to relive our most special day through them. Joey was kind, attentive, and clearly put his heart and energy into capturing all the special moments of our wedding day. It truly felt like having a friend there to document everything.     Joey was a joy to work with. We decided to get a videographer very last minute (we're talking one week before the wedding) and we're so glad Joey was available. He was very responsive and we were able to agree on terms quickly. The day of our wedding, he was prompt, knowledgeable, easy to work with, and fun. He and the photographers, who he'd never met before, meshed so well you'd think they were from the same company. I can't wait to see the results!

    I would recommend Joey to anyone! He was amazing, very funny and kind. He made everything feel so natural for our big day.
