My name's Carl Argueta, a wedding filmmaker based in Southern California, specializing in cinematic wedding films that feel authentic, emotional, and timeless. My approach is centered around capturing the real moments, the laughs, tears, little details, and in between moments that make your wedding uniquely yours. I combine natural storytelling with intentional cinematography to create films that don’t just document your day, but bring you back to how it felt.

I approach wedding filmmaking differently. Rather than simply capturing a timeline of events, I focus on the story, emotion, and little moments that make your wedding yours. My background as a filmmaker allows me to bring intentional cinematography, movement, composition, and sound design into every film while still keeping the experience natural and unobtrusive.

    Carl was amazing to work with! We planned our micro-wedding on such short notice (7 days) and he was incredibly accommodating and made everything happen for us. He completely exceeded our expectations with the video he created. We originally had a simple idea in mind, but he turned it into a beautiful 5-minute film that captured the emotions and story of our day so perfectly. One of our favorite things is being able to share it with family who couldn’t be there. His creativity makes you feel like you’re actually experiencing the day with us, rather than just watching a video.     As a local photographer, Carl is always enjoyable to work with and easy going. He makes any wedding we do together a breeze and how he shows up for his clients, it is clear he is passionate about what he does. Not just in the end result of the work but it shows in how the couple feels during the day. He’s shown me some of his other work and how he tells a story is beautifully done. I mean not many couples can say they’ve had their wedding captured by a filmmaker.

Your wedding video can range between 5-12 minutes long! This is actually a part of the planning process, we will discuss what exactly you want included in your video and that determines the length of the video.
Absolutely! If need be, I can have a team there ready to capture every moment of your wedding!
Carl Argueta Films is a one stop shop, I will take care of everything from the pre production to the filming to the edit.
Yes! No wedding to small, I'd love to be there and help you create a video to send to your family and friends who couldn't make it!
In my contract there is a portion that will ask if you're okay with me using your video for promotional purposes, if you select yes then your video will potentially be public either on my Zola page or website, if you select no then you will have a private link that only you can share.
I prefer for there to be at least a month heads up to prepare accordingly, although I have shot a wedding in a days notice!
