About this venue
Nestled on 70 peaceful acres, Wayside at Cottom Farm is a family-owned event venue rooted in tradition and Southern charm. Established in the 1900s, our farm has been a place of gathering and growth for generations. In 2010, we opened our doors as a wedding and event venue to share the beauty of our land with others on their most special days. With a commitment to creating meaningful and memorable experiences, Wayside offers a timeless setting for weddings, celebrations, and gatherings of all kinds.

The Arbor Court
Rustic charm meets open-air elegance — a timeless space for unforgettable celebrations.
Arbor Court at Wayside at Cottom Farm features 7,200 square feet of beautifully designed outdoor event space, perfect for weddings, receptions, and special gatherings. At the center is a 2,400 sq ft covered pavilion (40 ft x 60 ft), built entirely of rich, exposed wood for a warm and rustic aesthetic. Surrounding the pavilion is an additional 4,800 sq ft of uncovered space, ideal for outdoor ceremonies, cocktail hours, or dancing beneath the sky.

With panoramic views of the lake and rolling countryside, this elevated setting creates a naturally stunning stage for saying “I do." A handcrafted wooden arch stands at the center, ready to be styled to match your vision — whether rustic, romantic, or minimalist.
