Our 3,000-square-foot upper level offers a warm, laid-back setting with exposed brick, warm wood, industrial details, and twinkle lights for a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Guests can enjoy our spacious outdoor deck, and larger events can expand just outside the entrance with the option for a tent and even a Rail Street closure for a true street-party-style experience. It’s a unique choice for couples looking for something welcoming, memorable, and a little outside the traditional wedding venue.

A relaxed brewery wedding with room to make it your own.

Our lower-level event space offers a more intimate setting with plenty of character and several doors that open directly onto the deck, creating an easy indoor-outdoor flow for your celebration. The space is beautiful on its own and works wonderfully with minimal décor, or it can be completely transformed for couples who want to go all out and make the space their own. It’s a flexible, welcoming option for smaller weddings, rehearsal dinners, showers, and private celebrations.

    First Wedding at UPBC!

    As a Negaunee native, I always knew I wanted my husband and I to celebrate our big day close to home. We had already been fans of UPBC but didn’t know whether or not they’d be available for a wedding reception. After speaking with Ann, we found out we’d be the first wedding reception to happen there but she was totally down for it and open to the idea! She was great to work with and always open to our ideas and was there to answer any questions we had. The brewery was the perfect space to host our reception of about 100 people, as we could use the indoor space as well as the outside patio. Ann and her staff were amazing and even helped us clean up at the end of the night which was not expected but a huge help! Overall it was a fantastic experience and we’d choose UPBC again in a heartbeat!

    I rented the lower level for a bridal shower for my daughter and it was absolutely perfect. Ann was super helpful, the space is beautiful and having a bar for cocktails was an added touch. I highly recommend them to anyone who asks!

Yes. We welcome outside caterers for events. Because our in-house food menu is limited and best suited for smaller groups, couples hosting larger celebrations are encouraged to work with the caterer of their choice. We’re happy to coordinate with you so food service works smoothly with your event.
No. Outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted. We offer a variety of beer, hard seltzer, cider, hard tea, wine, and non-alcoholic options.
Absolutely! We welcome outside caterers, giving you the flexibility to choose the food and service that best fits your celebration. We also offer a selection of in-house food options that can work well for smaller, more casual events. Whether you bring in your favorite caterer or keep things simple with food from UPBC, we’re happy to help you find an option that works for your event.
Booking time varies depending on the type of event. Smaller events typically include a 4-hour rental period. Weddings include access to the venue for the full day, with the possibility of setting up in advance and returning the following day for cleanup and take-down, depending on availability. We’re happy to work with you to create a timeline that fits your celebration.
