We're Mary Beth & Loren, we absolutely love documenting weddings and can't imagine doing anything else! - We've been married for over 12 years - We have a 7 year old daughter - We love all things Mid Mod - We are cat people and have a beefy Maine Coon named Pierogi - Going to the antique store is our thing! We have a "No BS" approach to wedding photography and we offer the documentation and services that we would want if we were to get married again. How we work: We're not invisible, just observing from a distance. We are experiencing your wedding right along with you. Artistic people are typically introverted and don't want to be intrusive but we have learned that our best work comes from jumping in, getting in the action! Its the real, raw emotions that are happening and we are capturing. After your wedding, when you are going through your gallery, you'll be reliving your wedding through our artistic eyes. Loren has the 6' eye and Mary Beth has the 5' eye. See....two different perspectives!

Your fully edited images will be sent to you in an online gallery where you can download favorites, share to social media and order prints, note cards or canvases.
We actually WANT to document your day in it's entirety - so what this means to us is that we will work to create a timeline for your day, this helps us plan for all of the most important events of your wedding. On your day, we'll arrive while your getting ready and document as much of your reception that tells the complete story of your day.
We recommend booking sooner rather than later! We do not have other photographers that work under our business, it's just the two of us, so that means that we only take one wedding a weekend usually, so we do have limited availability.
When you hire us for your day, you get us - both of us! We don't have other photographers that work for us (unless God forbid one of us was deathly ill or hurt and in that case, we have amazing photographer friends that would step in to help make sure there are two people covering your day) so we plan to be there as promised for you. If both of us were unable to attend (which has never happened in the 12+ years of photographing) then we would work to find another photographer to take our place. It would be our job to make sure you are taken care of!
We ask that speeches happen at the start of your reception - and we have good reason to ask this!!! Your guests will be present, excited and engaged with your speakers if this happens before dinner is served. This ensures that they are paying attention to the important people who wish to say a few loving words for you. Once dinner is served, we will take a break from photographing. Guests don't want photos taken of them while they are putting food in their mouths and we prefer not to receive the "don't you dare take a picture of me" stare. We'll make sure to return before the other reception events get started!
