The Tomales Town Hall is a versatile and truly authentic setting for weddings and more. It isa rare find: a 19th-century historic community building lovingly maintained over the years with a deep respect for its past. For almost 150 years, the Hall has served the people of Tomales and visitors near and far, providing space for occasions of all kinds. From town meetings to once-in-a-lifetime moments, the Hall has been witness to the life of its rural community. We invite you to experience coastal West Marin village life in this beautiful and unique space.

Upstairs Hall
The Tomales Town Hall is a rare find: a 19th-century historic hall lovingly maintained over the years with a deep respect for its past.
The main hall has a casual but well-considered aesthetic that includes Doug Fir wood flooring with radiant heat, a stage, a bar, a small anteroom, versatile lighting options, and an abundance of natural light from windows along both the north and south walls. The south side of the hall includes a generous, grassy space, partly shaded by a stately Buckeye tree, available for daytime events.

Mother of bride
I have had both my daughters weddings at the community center in Tomales. Everyone was very easy to work with . The main hall is warm and fun to decorate. I had about 100 guests who all sat down for a dinner. Then we moved the tables and benches to the side and danced on the good wooden floor. A DJ operated on the stage and family members made speeches. The downstairs kitchen made food serving and cleaning easy.

Elegant ballroom style dance party with band
I rented the Tomales Town Hall for my fiftieth birthday. There was torrential rain outside but the hall was warm and cozy. We had an eight-piece band up on the stage and they sounded fantastic with the acoustics in the room. We had an area cleared up front for dancing and the small round tables in the back with tablecloths and electric candles on them. We served wine and beer from the bar. Much fun was had by all!

Great experience!
My son and daughter in law were married June 4th on the beach in Dillion Beach. We had the reception at Tomales Town Hall. It was a great experience. The hall coordinator was wonderful and easy to work with. The hall looked fantastic after we set up and decorated. Our guests, all from out of town, loved the setting and charm of the hall. We would highly recommend it for your event.
