A Perfect Experience at a 5 Star Venue

Getting married at the Royal Sonesta Capitol Hill was the best decision we made in our planning process, and it completely redefined what a hotel wedding can look like. From a logistics and execution standpoint, the staff operated at a level of 5-star professionalism that is hard to find. From our first inquiry onward they treated my wife and I as well as each guest with genuine care and attentiveness. Working with Anais was a truly collaborative process, we felt she was part of our team and she helped us so much throughout our planning and execution. Anais and her staff anticipated our needs and helped execute a perfect event that never felt rushed, and maintained a calm, gracious demeanor through the entire process, especially the wedding weekend itself. The venue itself delivers on every front. The guest rooms and public spaces are immaculate, the reception and ceremony room picture perfect, and the rooftop views of the monuments, breathtaking. Additionally, I’d like to Shout out the staff at the hotel’s restaurant, Bistro Du Jour. In the months leading up the wedding we shared many special moments thanks to Oliver and the team. As for the food options were varied and all exceptional. Multiple guests went out of their way to tell us it was the best wedding meal they'd ever had, and the kitchen executed the entire menu with absolute consistency. The packages for wedding offered are extremely fair, diverse and really remove so much guesswork from the planning. We wish we could get married all over again. We would recommend the Royal Sonesta Capitol Hill to anyone.
