The Lands is the only local, large-capacity indoor and outdoor wedding venue in Urbana, Ohio that offers everything under one roof. Located just 1 hour from Columbus or Dayton, the romantic and intimate garden setting, as well as the simple yet elegant stone and wood spaces, make The Lands the perfect backdrop to celebrate your special day with friends and family.     Dream Wedding

    We had been to a wedding at the Lands and loved it. It was beautiful, clean and organized. When it came our turn to get married, we knew exactly what venue we wanted! The wedding coordinator was fantastic to work with. She was responsive and polite. Working together with her made the wedding far less stressful. It was truly a picture perfect day. I would highly recommend booking the Lands! You won’t be disappointed!

    Great venue, personalized service, stress-free day

    Our wedding at The Lands was such a fun and wonderful experience! The all-inclusive services under one roof made it so easy to plan our wedding, and the coordinators were also very helpful, making sure the details were not forgotten. We were so satisfied with the food, and our pictures turned out beautiful!

For your wedding or event, we require a $1500.00 deposit upon booking to secure your event date. The initial deposit is a non-refundable deposit.
Yes! Typically wedding rehearsals are held at our venue on the Friday before your event. At this rehearsal, you can also bring items needed for decoration or overnight storage.
We need 40-60 minutes to transform the great hall from a wedding ceremony to a reception. During that time, guests have appetizers and drinks in the club room while the bridal couple has their pictures taken.
Yes, we have a more intimate area in front of the fireplace, which is perfect for smaller events. Please ask about the venue fee for this area.
We are very flexible when it comes to your event or wedding. Talk to your event coordinator about specific details of your vision and how we can help bring it to life!
Yes! We keep a list of our preferred vendors. You don’t have to use these vendors. We just share the list since we have had exceptional experiences working with them.
When you book with The Lands, you get a dedicated wedding or event coordinator who will be there from start to finish ensuring that your special day runs smoothly and is stress-free!
We are located four minutes outside the town of Urbana, Ohio and 25 minutes from Springfield, Ohio. Urbana Hotels: Cobblestone Hotel & Suites, Scioto Inn, Urbana Inn & Suites, in addition to some quaint bed and breakfasts nearby. Springfield Hotels: Holiday Inn Express & Suites, Country Inn & Suites, Courtyard by Marriott, Fairfield Inn & Suites.
The Lands only hosts one event at a time, making your wedding or event the only focus of the day!
You will have access to the venue four hours before your ceremony or event start time so that you can get ready (or dressed) at our facility and have plenty of time for pictures beforehand.
We recommend that you remove all of your decor and items from the facility at the end of the night.
All guests need to vacate the premises by midnight.
Yes, our chefs prepare amazing food from a hand selected menu – one less vendor that you have to hire. We serve your dinner in a buffet line or plated at the tables.
We provide a lapel mic for the officiant. Music can be played through our sound system for the wedding ceremony or event. We also have an 20'x11' LED screen if you would like to have a slide show for your guests, and lighting packages that can be purchased as an add-on.
Yes, we do. In addition, we have various vases, candle holders, etc. available for your use.
Yes, our parking lot can accommodate up to 100 cars.
Exclusive venue access is available four hours prior to the start of the event until 12am that evening or a maximum of 11.5 hours. All guests are required to leave the venue by 12am. Any additional hours are billed at $100 per hour.
The $6000 minimum spend ($9000 for peak season) consists of the per-person food & beverage packages and add-ons you choose. There is an additional venue fee of $1500 that is not counted towards the minimum spend. Included with all packages: Exclusive use of the entire 15,000+ square foot venue, set up & take down, audio/visual support & on-site equipment, two dedicated wedding coordinators, standard tables & chairs, all dinnerware/tablecloths/napkins for full place settings, decorative glassware & tealights, all waitstaff & bar staff, drink station for non-alcoholic beverages, cake table/knife/serving utensils.
