The venue is absolutely beautiful, and the food was amazing. Our guests had a wonderful time, and the setting made for a perfect wedding day.

The planning process, however, could have been smoother. Communication between team members felt inconsistent, and it seemed like not everyone was always on the same page. Because we did not have our own wedding planner, we relied heavily on the venue's planning team and found the process to be more challenging than expected at times.

Overall, we were very happy with our wedding day and would recommend the venue. The beautiful property and excellent food made it a memorable experience.

The Food was Incredible

Our wedding at Barley Sheaf was absolutely perfect in every way. From start to finish, the staff, the planning process, and the day-of execution were flawless. The venue itself is stunning — the grounds are beautifully maintained and created the most magical backdrop for the entire weekend.

We had the inn for the whole weekend, which made it extra special. Our guests loved staying on-site and being part of the celebration from start to finish. The ceremony between the two trees outside was everything we hoped for — intimate, natural, and breathtaking. It flowed seamlessly into cocktail hour behind the inn, and then into the reception in the barn, which was the perfect mix of elegance and charm.

The food was outstanding, and so many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed it. Throughout the entire process, the staff went above and beyond — they were attentive, organized, and made sure we didn’t have to worry about a single detail.

We could not have asked for a better venue. It truly exceeded every expectation we had, and we will always be grateful for how special they made our wedding weekend
